Receiving the news about my missing cousin Efrain Vargas gave me shock because it is just so unbelievable that my father's side of the family had many losses. So, on Wednesday, Efrain and five other fishermen went to fish in the ocean near Acapulco, Mexico. Unfortunately, a tropical storm came to the area, which explains why Efrain and the five others did not come back on Thursday, August 26. The fishermen and Efrain usually go out to fish on Wednesdays and come back the following day, but it is now Friday night and there has been no communication made from the fishermen. It's possible that the storm got to their boat, and drowned everyone on board. Who knows, but I hope everything turns out well because my father has had enough losses in such a short time. He lost his brother in 2018, his father in 2020, and his mother this year. He can't lose his nephew too! Efrain is also too young to die, and it would be nice to know him more than I already do. I texted him a couple of times back in December 2020, and I've actually been thinking about texting him, but I always seemed to forget to text him. I just hope that my cousin and the five other fishermen are alright. How do I know all of this? My father informed me, and I saw the news from the state of Guerrero, Mexico on Facebook and YouTube. Efrain's sisters also posted about him on their Facebook accounts, so it's certain that he is lost at the ocean. I'll keep on watching and reading updates about my cousin. Hopefully, everything turns out okay.
