Steven Vargas is an Hispanic/American man who has been medically diagnosed with PTSD since 2018. He was born in the summer of 2002 to two Mexican parents in the state of Georgia, located in the United States of America.
What you're about to read will let you see what Steven was thinking throughout the days of his diary entries while suffering with PTSD. As an autistic person, Steven can be misunderstood by a society run by neurotypicals. Due to mistreatment from his school peers for his autism as a child, Steven developed PTSD as a result of school bullying that occurred for many years. In the book, Steven shares his raw, emotional thoughts to raise awareness about the effects school bullying can have on the long-term, and to raise acceptance for autism.
The diary contains topics like suicide, domestic violence, and other strong topics.
