Part 120: Christmas Morning 4/4

Everything was going perfectly, you were so happy that everyone like the magic spheres you made for them, but you still had to give Loki and Thor their gifts. You were nervous about it and decided to wait, watching the others exchange gifts with their siblings or significant others. So you sat with Loki and Thor, watching the others with a smile on your face, so excited to see your friends and family open presents, kind of like a mom on Christmas. It was definitely funny and sweet watching their reactions, they were all acting like kids and you were thrilled to see even the most serious of Avengers having fun. 

The ladies went first, Wanda giving a gift to Pietro and Vision as they were now officially "together", being open with their relationship, none of you were surprised, as everyone knew about it. Wanda got Pietro a new tracksuit, it was a subtly grey-icy blue, with a fading geometric grid pattern up the sleeves and pant legs, and although you weren't the biggest fan of tracksuits this one was nice. Wanda handed Vision his gift, he opened it and pulled out a set of scarves, mittens, and hats, so they would match. It was so cute, her set was green and Vision's was red with "WandaVision" stitched into each piece, in opposite colours. Natasha only had one gift to give, it was for Bruce and it was a nice suit that could apparently hold up to a Hulk transformation, which was super cool. 

Pietro gave Wanda a 1950s style red dress, you took him to that Vintage Clothing boutique you liked as he needed help picking something out as he wasn't too good at shopping. Vision then gave Wanda his gift to her, tickets to a show on Broadway, it was Anastasia, a show she talked about wanting to see. While Bruce gave Natasha a stunning necklace and a pair of matching earrings, he made them himself, apparently, Hulk got his hands on a chunk of raw blue topaz, her birthstone. Bruce then spent a long time cutting and shaping the gemstones to make several pieces of jewellery with platinum it was so beautiful, she looked like she was about to cry, giving him a big kiss. 

Bucky and Steve then exchanged gifts and it was kind of hilarious as they got each other the same thing; tickets to a Jazz Festival in Montreal. They decided over the next few minutes to go together, taking you and Sam as their "dates" for the trip and you were more than happy to go as you loved Jazz. Peter then gave Tony a little gift, it was a fancy silk tie, it was navy blue with a simple pattern of little grey dots and Ironman helmets, Ms.Potts helped him acquire it. It was awesome and probably the coolest tie you had ever seen, Tony practically ripped off his current tie replacing it with the new one. 

Thor and Loki exchanged gifts next, Loki was expecting another sweatshirt but was pleasantly surprised when he received something else, being a set of daggers. The blade seemed a little short but when Thor told him to try them out they expanded, the blades going from about three inches to twelve. Loki then handed Thor his present, trying not to smile and you looked a little confused as you could tell Loki was hiding something, a little worried about it. Thor got so excited as he pulled out an oversized sweatshirt, it was green and covered in cute little cartoon snakes, it was awesome. Thor got so excited and quickly threw it on, and he wouldn't shut up about how amazing his new sweatshirt was, he literally brought it up every so often for the rest of the day. 

"Well this is going to be a little awkward" you whisper under your breath with an anxious smile, handing Thor and Loki their presents, worried they wouldn't like them. You instructed them to open a particular present first, as it was a gift that "went together"; they unwrapped the boxes to find matching ornate Victorian Daggers you restored yourself, Scabbards included. There was an empty place on the hilt where a gem was supposed to be so you added one, a red Garnet stone for Thor and a green Emerald stone for Loki. They liked them, both thanking you for the knives, they then opened their other gift; Thor got super happy all over again as you had gotten him a t-shirt that said "Just A Guy Who Loves Snakes" on it with the most kawaii and cute orange snake. Thor took off his sweatshirt and the shirt he had on underneath, being briefly topless for a minute before trying it on, it fit well and soon he put his sweatshirt back on so he could wear both snake-themed articles of clothing. You also handed him a couple of new gaming controllers, you had the pieces shipped in so you could build them yourself, opting for parts that could withstand the might and strength of Thor, seeing as he had broken several controllers already. 

Loki then opened his other gift, it appeared to be a book, but it wasn't just any old book as it was a photo album/scrapbook. It was filled with pictures from the past six months, the missions together, your dates, with little details like movie stubs or postcards. It was also filled with drawings you made on your drawing pad, you had printed off a bunch of them, ones of him, ones of all the Avengers together, of Asgard, and of all of the places they've been to. There were also a lot of empty pages, there was a little note on the first empty page that read "to be continued", as you planned to fill the book to the brim with him. You told Loki you couldn't wait to fill up the rest of the pages by his side, leaning down before him, declaring how much you loved him, how you looked forward to spending every moment by his side, forever. Loki set the book aside seizing you tight as he pulled you in for a passionate kiss, he held you in his arms for a while and you whispered that you had one last gift for him but you'd give it to him later.  

It was then time for your gifts and Thor insisted on giving you his first, Loki didn't mind, so you quickly opened it, super excited to get a Thor sweatshirt. It was black and had a large hood, so I guess it was more of a hoodie but you didn't care, it was super awesome and had a cute little red and gold dragon on it. You instantly threw it on, taking off the Avengers hoodie, it felt so nice and was huge, making it perfect and you swiftly got up to give Thor a hug, thanking your big brother. He then told you this sweater was special as like his cape if was fire resistant, but yours was even more so, being able to stand up to your fire no matter how hot it burned. 

Loki then gave you his gifts and you told him there were too many, as there were at least half a dozen boxes for you to unwrap, but he didn't care, he wanted to shower you with presents. You felt kind of guilty that Loki had more gifts for you than you had for him, and you pouted for a moment before he was able to convince you to open them. He got you a bunch of jewellery; necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and even a crown and all the pieces matched, made of gold with emeralds and diamonds, sparkling like stardust. The style was somewhere in between Nordic, Celtic and Elvish, reading as very much Asgardian, but with Middle Earth flare, after all, he knew how much you loved Lord Of The Rings. 

Loki then handed you the final two boxes and you thanked him for them before telling him the jewellery was more than enough and you didn't need any more gifts but Loki insisted. You sighed before opening the next box it was a pair of beautiful shoes; they were actually gold gladiator sandals with a slight heel, the strap detailing wrapped around just past your ankles and tied into a bow. You thought they were lovely, you tried them on to make sure they fit and they did, very well, in fact, it was as if they were made just for you.

You then opened the final box, it was a beautiful Asgardian dress, it was a lovely deep emerald with just a hint of seafoam green when it caught the light, with long off the shoulder hanging sleeves that slit opened at your elbows, a fitted long sleeve underneath in the same colour. The top of the dress was decorated with a line of gold leaves and flowers, the same design adorned the cuffs of the undersleeve. The dress itself had a lace-up back and was cut between a Trumpet style and an A-line, as it was form-fitting in the torso and over the hips but flowed down into a full and stunning gown. You looked at Loki, trying not to cry as you whispered, "it's perfect, thank you", in all honesty, what you said came out sounding more like a whimper but Loki thought your reaction was so sweet.  

Loki thought the look on your face was priceless, he couldn't help it as he leaned down to kiss your teary-eyed face well saying "your welcome darling". You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer, refusing to let go, even when he asked you told him "no" as you weren't done giving him hugs yet. Loki smiled leaning to whisper in your ear, "I have one more gift for you as well, my love" and you pulled away, looking at him with a surprised expression, as you blinked rapidly at him. You then smiled, giving him a little kiss as you decided together you would exchange your last gifts that evening, after the ball.
