Part 111: Shreddin' The Gnar 2/3

Loki ended up taking you down an intermediate hill after lunch, you were a little nervous but you were so happy to be snowboarding with your boo. Even though you were terrible compared to Loki, you were still excited riding the lift up with him, hand in hand and he soon pulled you in for a kiss. Loki was over the moon, as he and everyone else who witnessed the incident wouldn't shut up about it, you doing something so outrageous in public. The guys ended up telling the others at lunch, even though you threatened to blast them with fire if they said anything, Peter even somehow managed to record the whole thing on his phone. Peter said he knew something was about to go down by the look in your eyes, he'd never seen that look before so he had to get his phone out to record everything. You couldn't even drink your tea or eat your soup and sandwich in peace, with all of the Avengers giving you a playfully hard time about it. 

Your face was red the entire way out of the Resort's restaurant, while you were walking past all the buildings, and when you were waiting to get on the lift to take you up the mountain. You only managed to relax when Loki took your hand, looking at you with a smile and you realized he wasn't mad or upset about it at all, you were so worried you embarrassed him, but he was happy, the grin on his face was unmistakable. You let out a sigh of relief as you lean over to rest your head on Loki's shoulder, you were never really good with these kinds of things. You were always a little awkward, trying your best to avoid situations where you'd be the center of attention, seeing as you weren't really used to it. There was the occasional exception of course but you were never one to actively seek out attention which made this situation all the more entertaining for everyone but you it would seem. 

Loki still commented about it after you got off the lift, and you got embarrassed and a little mad all over again but he liked teasing you, no he definitely loved teasing you. He also loved it when you angrily and playfully shoved him away after making said comment to tease you, Loki couldn't help but smile and laugh some more. He ended up pushing you back and you did the same, soon you were play-fighting at the top of the mountain. Loki pushed you again and you lost your balance, but he caught you before falling over but that's what you wanted, you shifted your weight and knocked him down into the snow. You were on top of him now holding him down on the ground and you couldn't help it, kissing his cute face all over, he soon kissed you back, gripping you tight not letting you get up. You then remembered you were out in public and both of you quickly got up and headed away from the other tourists, to the trail he planned to take you down.

You both were laughing as you escaped hand in hand from the knowing looks, everyone was probably grossed out from your PDA. You soon arrived and you put your snowboards back on, hastily doing up all the straps, pulling Loki in for a quick peck on the lips before declaring the loser buys hot drinks afterwards. You promptly shot off giving Loki a wink as you got a head start down the mountain leaving the Asgardian looking rather stunned. He was closing in and somehow managed to launch himself over you doing a trick in the air before landing in front of you, looking back at you briefly with a smirk. He beat you down the mountain but it was closer than you thought it would be as you finished shortly after he did, Loki barely had time to take off his snowboard before you got there. You did have a hard time stopping when you reached the bottom but Loki caught you before you fell over, dropping his board, pulling you up and into his arms. He spun you around and carried you away, having you hold the snowboards while he walked over to a bench. 

You soon met up with the others to get a snack and treat Loki to the tea you owed him, getting him an Earl Grey and a Vanilla Chai for yourself, as well as also buying a fresh and hot cheesy bun for both of you. The tea was great and the buns were so cheesy, flakey and delicious, but Loki insisted the cheese buns you make are much better, you just gave him a little nudge with your elbow before giving him a little kiss. You decided to go on a short walk to check out some other things the resort had to offer, you stopped by a gift shop and a place you could rent snowmobiles. You then got a call from Wanda, she was wondering if you and Loki wanted to join her, Vision, Natasha, and Bruce for an activity, and when she told you what it was you practically begged Loki to go and do it. He agreed, of course, how could he say anything else but yes when you were so excited to try ice skating for the first time. 

You had no idea this place had a skating rink, let alone one bigger than the ones they have at the Olympics, it was huge but it actually wasn't that crowded, well as crowded as you would suspect. There were only about two dozen or so people on the ice, which worked well for you considering you hadn't done this before, you didn't want to accidentally fall over into other people. You quickly met up with Natasha, Bruce, Vision and Wanda who all already had their skates so you rushed up to the booth to get yourself and Loki a pair, making sure his skates were black and yours were grey, to match your outfits of course. You ended up getting white skates as they didn't have grey ones but it was fine, they still went with your outfit and you practically ripped off your snow pants and other outer gear. You were just so eager to go skating and show off the cute outfit you had on underneath; you had on a pair of dark blue-grey skinny jeans, a tight emerald green turtleneck, a black leather jacket and your grey beanie. As for accessories you weren't wearing much, just a pair of fitted gloves and a necklace Loki got you, it was a simple but beautiful gold chain with his name in cursive on it inside a little heart.  

You weren't that good at skating, and you were a little sad about it, as Natasha and Bruce had no problems, while Wanda and Vision were practically flying around the rink. Loki however, loved it, you clung to him so tight, so nervous and cute, so afraid of falling over, not like it would hurt mind you, it would just be a bit embarrassing. You did fall on your butt a lot, with Loki helping you up every time, seeing as you had trouble getting up on your own, but he didn't mind, in fact, he loved how you would reach out your arms for him to come and grab you. You could eventually skate on your own without Loki's help but you still wouldn't let go, insisting that you could only do it if he was holding on to you. Of course, the God of Mischief wasn't complaining while you skated together, loving any chance to hold you tight in his arms.  

You were taking a little break, you had been skating for a while now and offered to go with Bruce to get hot drinks for everyone as it was getting colder. It wouldn't affect you too badly but for your mortal companions, you knew it would be worse for them, besides it being winter you were all outside, and it was getting rather dark. You had only been gone about 15 minutes but you saw Loki talking to one of those school girls from earlier, you were starting to get mad all over again. That was until you saw her face, she looked scared while showing Loki something on her phone and quickly rushed over to see what was wrong. 

You asked her what was going on and she hastily informed you that she and her parents couldn't find her brother, his name was Eli, he was 13 and had been missing for hours. They already talked to the staff, having several security guards on the lookout for him, but it was getting colder and they were getting desperate, going around asking anybody if they'd seen him. With the temperature dropping by the hour, even with proper snow gear on, being out at night in the middle of winter was risky, he wouldn't survive for long out by himself. You turn to Loki and he gives you a nod, and you tell her you would help, calling over the others before taking another look at the photo the girl had taken earlier in the day. You hadn't done a search and rescue mission before and with time not on your side, you would all have to move fast.
