Loki can feel how tense you are, and moves his head to rest on top of yours as he offers to read to you, like on your first night here. You tell him you would love that before remembering something from that first night. You sit up and turn to look at him asking "by any chance did you figure out what book I was talking about?". Loki gives you a quizzical look so elaborate "you know I mentioned a story about a silver winged falcon. I have no idea where it came from" you say laying back down next to Loki. "The only explanation I could come up with is that maybe it was a story my grandmother read to me when I was really young and for some reason, I'm only remembering it now" you continued while looking up at the ceiling, but that still didn't feel right. You tell him you couldn't find any reference to it online and Loki, being the guy who was constantly reading you thought that maybe he might have heard of it. "The only thing really weird about it is whenever I try to think about it I don't hear her voice, I hear the voice of a boy, maybe 13 or so, the same one from my dreams" you turned over to look at Loki asking him if maybe you were going crazy.

Loki reassures you that you're not going crazy before pulling you back into his arms so you couldn't see the look of worry growing on his face. He wanted to tell you the truth but he also didn't want to worry you before he had figured out what was really going on. He had settled on the idea that you were a reincarnation of the previous Y/N but that still didn't explain why you could remember things from your previous life. People don't just remember bits and pieces of their past life, not without outside help or intervention. It was the possible 'outside help' that concerned him, worried someone was planning something, but what he hadn't figured out yet. He just got you back and he wasn't going to let anyone take you from him, not even Odin would take you away this time.

You hear knocking at your door as you start to wake up. You tell whoever is there to come in as turn over check your phone for the time. It was just after 8 am you don't even remember falling asleep. The last thing you remember is Loki telling you about the time he and Thor vanquished their first monster. It then dawns on you what happened last night and you start to panic as Steve walks through the door. You quickly turn to where Loki was to cover him up but he wasn't there. You're at first relieved that he wasn't there so that you wouldn't get caught but then you felt a little sad and lonely realizing that he didn't stay.

Steve asks you what was wrong and you tell him that everything was fine you just had a weird dream. You ask him what's up and he came to let you know that seeing as you were pretty much completely recovered they were going to resume your training, starting tomorrow. You got all excited; part of you was worried that after the whole injury and traitor thing you wouldn't be able to train with them anymore. You quickly jump out of bed excited as you head downstairs to eat breakfast with everyone.

You end up making some hangover soup for everyone, one of your I.T. co-workers gave you the recipe. They would always get hammered on the weekends and swore by this recipe as the ultimate cure for a hangover. You actually liked the soup, a little spicy but you would always cut back on the spice when making it for yourself. You also made some herbal green tea and rice to go along with the soup, and quickly serve it to everybody. They all think it's super delicious and they thank you, saying that you're a lifesaver. You jokingly say "last time I checked you were the ones who were literal lifesavers".

You notice Wanda having a really rough time with her hangover so you give her a hug, rubbing her back soothingly. Asking her if she needed anything and before she could answer Tony starts asking what about him? His hangover was just as bad, if not worse, in fact, it was worse, so much worse. You called Tony a Drama Queen before asking what he could possibly want. Before Tony could answer Thor and Loki walked in and you awkwardly say hi, offering them some hangover soup trying your best to sound calm. They looked skeptical so you explained it's just soup served with rice, it helps cure a mortal's hangover. Steve who was not hungover tells them it's very good, spicy but delicious. Thor being very hungry tells you he would love some of this hangover soup. Loki doesn't say anything, so you walk back into the kitchen to get Thor some soup and rice.

You open up the cupboard and reach up to grab a bowl but they're too high. Steve was nice enough to grab them before but he wasn't here so you decide to go off to get the stool. Before you even turn around you see a familiar pale hand grabbing what you needed out from the cupboard then handing it to you. You put the dishes down in front of you on the counter then turn around giving Loki a grateful smile. He whispers "good morning darling" leaning down to give you a kiss. You of course not expecting a kiss start to blush wildly as you squeak out "morning, um... dear" trying to use a cute pet name back, but you felt really uncomfortable calling Loki something else besides his name. You don't give Loki time to respond as you dash out of the kitchen with Thor's food, handing it to him asking everyone what's on the schedule for today.

Tony then says that's what he needed to talk to you about, he and Steve pull you aside to talk privately. They basically tell you that seeing as Natasha and Sam their two best pilots were out of commission they needed someone skilled to help fly the Quinjet. As of right now, you were the only pilot in the room who was trained to fly a Quinjet and sober. You turn, looking at Steve with wide eyes, he gives you an approving nod saying "welcome to the big leagues kid, suit up cause we leave in 10 minutes".
