Lia sat across the table from Lisa and me, eating the bowl of pasta that I made for dinner. Lia and I continued eating while Lisa had her arms across her chest, with her eyes narrowed at her sister, "And what did mom say about you just leaving all of a sudden? No way she was ok with this."
Lia scooped another forkful of pasta in her mouth, "She said as long as she got a text from me saying that I got here fine and that I stayed out of trouble it was ok." She swallowed her food, "And I may have lied and said that it was ok with you and Jennie before I left..." she mumbled.
Lisa put her hands up in the air dramatically, "There it is!"
I quirked an eyebrow at her but continued eating, "I'm ok with it."
Lisa gaped at me but I just shrugged while Lia looked on with a goofy smile.
