We ate and joked around for a bit until the time came, and there was another appointment in one of our schedules and John left.

My phone buzzed on the table. As I peeked, I saw Noir had texted me.

*Hey, Red. I wanted to text.* He wrote.

*Hi, noir. What's up?* I replied.

*Homelander is really into you. Are you aware?* He asked, and I laughed out loud.

*Yes. I'm aware. Is there a problem?* I replied, feeling a little bit silly.

*Not at all. Just making sure we're all on the same page.* He replied then added a smiley face.

*I think we really like each other. It's sweet of you to check, though.* I sent back with a smiley face attached.

Dots appeared on Noirs side of the chat but disappeared again. Was it just a mistake, or had he wanted to continue our conversation? I asked myself.

I looked up his schedule and saw that he was free for most of the day, so I initiated another conversation.

*Would you be interested in a hot chocolate?* I asked, and the dots reappeared.

*Make that camomille tea, and I'm in :)* He replied, and I thumbs upped it.

I put on some water and searched the kitchen for tea, finding an untouched variety of tea.

One doorknock later Noir had arrived.

"Noir. Good to see you. Come on in. The water isn't boiling yet but shouldn't take long." I said and guided him over to the kitchen table. "I gotta say, I didn't take you for a tea enthusiast, but camomille does sort of make sense." I chuckled, and Noir shrugged.
We drank our tea and "chatted" a bit. Nothing meaningful, just casual conversation. Then he told me about Homelander and what he was like when he became 'the homelander'. Time flew by and soon enough Noir left with a hug.

Sorry for my absence. I had written a couple of chapters, but then wattpad sort of lost them...trying to get new chapters out asap.
