He stared at me with his sparkling eyes, and as if not thinking about the consequences, he said, "You taste even sweeter than I thought you would."

I felt my eyes widen at his statement and quickly sat up straight.
"You better knock that off, Deep. Homelander will laser your ass if you don't stop making such comments." I warned.
Although his lips were soft and warm. So gentle, so sweet.

I stood from the ground and continued my way out.
I took the elevator and replayed the situation in my head.

And then I looked out into the endless sky. The city, buzzing with people whose lives were meaningless. Yet I was there to protect them.
