Ashley left, but Deep stayed. "Deep what the fuck were you thinking." I said annoyed. "You didn't really think that was a good idea? You're not that stupid are you?" I asked.

"Well, no. Maybe sort of." He stammered.

"Deep. Homelander will laser you, if he sees one more #DeepRed post. He is furious, and you understand that don't you?" I asked and frowned.

"No. Honestly I don't. I thought we had a connection, but ever since Homelander claimed you as his grand prize, I feel as if I imagined it. Tell me I'm wrong Red." He sighed defeatedly.

"Deep. We never were anything other than friends. There is no deeper connection, and Homelander didn't claim me. It just clicked." I replied and thought I heard something break inside of him.

"I let you hold my fishes!" He said stern.

I looked at him blankly but nodded, "I understand you took a liking to me, but I'm sorry." I walked a little closer to him. "You and I are friends. Nothing more, nothing less." I told him, and his mood shifted into a carefree one again.

"I'll see you later then!" He said happily and left.

I walked back out and made my way up to PR and Ashley. Once at their meeting door, I entered and immediately, one of those idiots addressed me rudley.

"We're having a meeting. Next time you should knock." She remarked snarkly.

"Homelander once told me that I'm too nice, I guess he was right after all. Sometimes, you have to be a bit rough." I said and smiled. I walked closer to the woman who had forgotten her position. "You should break your nose." I told her, and without a second passing, she slammed her head onto the table, which she was seated at.

The rest of her coworkers gasped, and some even jumped. Scared by the sudden act of self-harm. Tears and Blood mixed as both streamed down her face.
