We went back to the tower, sitting quietly in the car. The chauffeur caughed and apologized.

"No need." I answered. Then I turned to Homelander. "I hate when people do that."

"What? You mean the cough?" He asked, unsure.

"No. The apology. It's so stupid. Same with the sneezing and having to apologize. Just so annoying." I said and groaned.

"What do you do when you sneeze?" Homelander asked curiously.

"I wait for someone to say 'Gesundheit'. I guess it's also fine if no one acknowledges the sneeze or cough at all." I said while looking out the window.

"What about etiquette? I imagined you were quit versed in that." Homelander admitted.

I looked over to him and exhaled. "Well, sort of. Depends. I know some basic manners, but I don't waste my breath with useless words. No one even cares to hear." I explained, and Homelander smiled.

"You're weird." He said with a wide smile.

"Who are you callin' weird, Mr.!" I teased and laughed.

"You!" He said loudly and wrapped his arms around me.

The ride was over before we knew it. Coming up the elevator, I heard shuffling. "You hear that?" I asked, and John nodded.

"At least 5 people." He answered.

The elevator rose up, and I caughed. "Ashley." Her scent penetrated my airways. As soon as the doors dingged open, I shoved her to the back.
"How is it possible for you to smell so bad that I want to choke myself? I mean, seriously, Ashley. You smell disgusting." I said as I poked her in the chest.

She stood there dumbfounded, and Homelander came up behind me and put his arm around my shoulder, I stepped back a bit and looked to the other people.
"Now, what are y'all doing here, blocking the hallway?" I asked.
