"First of all, you scrap everything that is #DeepRed or related to it. Then, we'll focus on Starlight's new campaign." One of the idiots raised his hand. "Yes?" I asked him.

"We haven't heard of that project. What is it?" He asked shakily.

"Fantastic question. What's your name?" I asked expectantly.

"Mitch." He replied with a gulp.

"Awful name, no offense. Mitch, you are now in charge of Starlight's new mystery campaign. Good luck! It has to gain enough popularity to distract from Homelander and me. At least for a while, so no preassure." I explained, and Mitch went pale. "I'll let you get to it." I called out as I left.

I strolled down the hallway, replaying the situation I just left in my head. It felt good, their racing hearts and the stench of fear. I started to realize how powerful I was. How much potential I had. And soon enough, all of vought would see that.

"Red Canary!" I heard behind me, followed by the hurried tock- tock of pumps.

I turned to face Ashley but continued to walk.
"What do you want?" I asked her as she slowed down next to me.

"I was informed of the pitch for mitch this morning." She said and huffed with a smile.

"So?" I continued.

"Amazing idea. Although higher up wasn't too happy with the cancellation of #deepred." She said nervously.

"Too bad. I mean, sure, I'll hold hands with a friend. A teammate, but you are aware that Homelander will tear down this whole city if #deepred or anything other than #redlander is of interest again." I said and gave a dry laugh.

"True. Maybe you could... make that point with higher-ups yourself." She said and stopped.

I turned to look at her, "What."

"Mr. Edgar wants to see you. Right now." She said with a gulp.

I walked past her and made my way up to Edgar.
