I backed out of her folder and opened the one below.
Chazwick ... something his file also contained a picture, although it wasn't a mugshot. I recognized him. It was the barista who had annoyed me. But I didn't use my powers on him.
Or did I? I was sure I had only told him to leave me alone, not go ahead and die.
I scrolled further and found another report file.
"Although Red Canary was not the one to cause the above-mentioned collateral damage, it is note worthy that said damage was caused because of Red Canary and a certain comment. Which had initiated the following events."

Under the report, there was another picture.
It was hard to make out what it was that I was looking at.
A pile of twisted bones, charred flesh, and what seemed to be pieces of fabric and hair, which was labeled 'remains'.

There was one last attachment in Chaz' file it was a one-liner reading "full report in the 'Homelander' file".

Did that mean Homelander had made that mangled mess out of the barista. But he had no reason, did he?
I went back and re-read the before mentioned report, "caused because of Red Canary and a certain comment. "...
Was this the consequence of me telling Homelander about how the guy had bugged me?
