After a little while, the PR team texted, asking Homelander and me to come to the conference room.
So we did.
On the table lay various assortments of merchandise revolving around the Seven.
I walked over and pushed the A-Train shirts onto the floor and sat up on the table.

"Abner Newsome's parents have agreed to let you two meet with their son in about two hours. We will get you ready and send you off asap. He's 14 years old and suffers from heart cancer." Ashley summerized.

"Anything else?" I asked, and she skimmed through her notes again.

"No. That should be it." She said.

"Okay. So, how does this go down? We meet the child, we talk and leave? I haven't done this in ages." Homelander said sort of bored.

"Almost. You talk a bit and take pictures. Press only after you've left, since that would be too much for Abner, his parents stated." Ashley explained.

"So what's all this for then? Are we supposed to make an assortment and give them to him?" I asked, motioning to the merchandise next to me.

"We were thinking since the last visit didn't go as planned that we'd send Make A Wish a gift basket, as an apology." One of the PR people said.

"Yeah, maybe don't include A-Train in this one, don't you think?" Homelander said.

"Alright, let's get going. We gotta get to Abner." I said and grabbed a couple of T-shirts featuring Homelander, me, and the others.

We got prepared, makeup a bit less obvious than for the last "mission," and got into the car.
"What's with the T-shirts?" Homelander asked.
"I wanna make this a fun time for Abner. I mean, we could sign them?" I said.

"I didn't know you cared about sick kids so much." He chuckled but raised an eyebrow.

"I just feel bad for him. Especially after what happened earlier!" I admitted.
