isabella's bad day

Isabella woke up in a bad mood this morning! She had an accident during the night, her first accident in a few weeks since potty training. Scott begins to clean Isabella's bed and then he brings Isabella downstairs.

Isabella begins to scream and smack Scott as he tries to change her. "Isabella! No hitting." Scott says sternly. Isabella throws herself to the floor and screams loudly.

"Ignore her. Just ignore her, Scott." Mitch says softly. After crying for a minute Isabella stops crying and soon falls asleep. Scott and Mitch check on Isabella and she is laying on the floor fast asleep.

Scott picks her up and lays her down on the couch. "Maybe she didn't sleep well last night. Let her sleep." Mitch says as he covers Isabella up with her purple blanket.

About an hour later Isabella wakes up. Isabella eats her breakfast and she is in a better mood. "Mmm, is it yummy!" Isabella says as she happily eats her breakfast.

"I'm glad you think my pancakes are yummy! I'm a bad cook! Would you like anymore strawberries?" Scott asks and Isabella nods.

"Okay sweety, Daddy will cut them up for you." Scott says as he begins to clean up the kitchen.

Mitch hands Isabella some strawberries and she hugs him. Mitch cuts up Isabella a few strawberries for her and Sophia and kisses their cheeks.

After breakfast, Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer are playing in the living room. Isabella is playing by herself with her dolls. She begins to throw the toys on the floor and stomps her feet.

"Isabella, what's wrong?" Mitch says and Isabella shrugs her shoulders. Mitch leaves Isabella to calm down and checks on Sophia and Sawyer. He walks back to the laundry room.

Mitch begins to put a load of clothes into the washer and folds up the clothes from the dryer. Scott walks into the living room and sits on the couch. Isabella smacks Sawyer and Sawyer cries. Isabella then smacks Sophia.

"Ow!" Sophia says as she cries. "Isabella Hope! Timeout, now!" Scott says as he sits her on the bottom step.

Isabella plays with her ear as she sat on time out. "Something has been bothering Isabella all day." Scott says and Mitch nods.

"I know, she just seems so upset and she is never like that." Mitch says to Scott.

"Isabella, come over here." Scott says and Isabella walks over to Mitch and Scott. "Do you feel sick, Issy?" Mitch asks and Isabella cries.

"Aw, it's okay baby girl. Shhh, shhh. It's okay. Come here, let me hold you." Mitch says as Isabella climbs into Mitch's lap.

Mitch rubs Isabella's back as she cries on his shoulder. "What hurts, baby?" Mitch asks Isabella. "My ears hurts." Isabella whispers.

"If something hurts you sweety, you should have told Daddy and I. You tell Daddy and I if you don't feel well or something hurts, always. But, even though you don't feel well, you do not hit anybody or have a tantrum. Tantrums do not get our attention, baby girl. You have to use your words." Scott says and Isabella sniffles. "Sworry." Isabella says as she wipes her face.
