It is almost time for the Grassi-Hoying kids to go back to school! There is only about a week and a half left of summer and the kids are soaking it in!
Liam is heading into seventh grade, Hudson is heading into fourth grade, Sophia is heading into second grade, Isabella is heading into kindergarten and Sawyer is heading into pre-kindergarten!
Hudson, Sophia and Isabella and have a meet the teacher night at their school and Mitch and Scott want to be active parents in their kids schools and go. Sawyer will have his during the first day of school!
Scott is taking a shower and getting ready while Mitch and the kids are downstairs waiting to go. Sophia, Isabella and Amelia are playing with the Barbie's while Hudson and Sawyer are playing Mario Kart.

"Dad, Can I join the flag football team at school?" Liam asks Mitch as he eats Baked Lays Potato Chips out of the bag.
"Liam, you know how much I don't like football at all. Football can be very dangerous for your head. So much research shows how bad football is for anybody." Mitch says to Liam.
"Any sport can be dangerous, Dad. And Papa said I could, I just had to ask you." Liam says as he drinks his Gatorade.
"Papa said yes? He didn't tell me this information." Mitch says as he puts the clean dishes away.
"Yeah, he told me last night after he picked me up from Willow's house. Plus, flag football is so much safer then regular football is. And the team has a lot of my soccer friends on it. So please, Dad?" Liam asks Mitch with puppy eyes.
Mitch sighs loudly. He wants to say no to Liam but he doesn't want to break his heart by saying no.
"Let me think on it. You already play two sports, I just don't want you to get worn down or injure yourself. That's all. I'm your Dad and that's what I worry about. When I was high school, I was in school plays all year long and that's not a lot of physical work. I wasn't a sporty like you are. I just want you safe, that's all." Mitch says to Liam.
"I'll be fine, Dad. Thank you for making sure I'm okay. Lacrosse is in the spring and soccer is in the fall. Flag football happens during the fall and the winter. So I won't be jammed packed with sports all the time." Liam says to Mitch.
"Well, give me the dates for try outs and I'll talk to Papa about it." Mitch says to Liam making Liam smile ear to ear.
"Okay! Sounds good!" Liam says as he walks outside to check the mail.
