first day of school!

Today is the big day! First day of school for five of the Grassi-Hoying kiddos! Liam is going into sixth grade, Hudson is going into third grade, Sophia is going into first grade, Isabella is going into pre-k and Sawyer is going to preschool.

Mitch and Scott have just woken up and are downstairs. Mitch is making the kid's breakfast while Scott is sitting with Amelia keeping her company in the living room.

"Papa, wook at Wyatt!" Amelia says as she grabs Wyatt's tail.

"No, don't grab his tail, baby. Come here Wyatt. Come here." Scott says as Wyatt rubs against Scott's face.

Mitch puts a plate full of pancakes on the table. "Scotty, Amelia, let's eat!" Mitch says as he walks over to feed Daisy, Lucy and Wyatt.

Amelia walks over to the kitchen and Scott follows closely behind.

"There's my baby girl! You are the only one that's gonna be home today! Don't grow up, stay little." Mitch says as he kisses Amelia's cheek before sitting her in her highchair.

Mitch begins to cut up Amelia's pancakes and Scott hands Amelia a sippy cup of milk.

"Mmmm, is that good?" Scott asks Amelia. Amelia smiles at Mitch and Scott.

Sawyer, Isabella and Sophia walk into the dining room with their pajamas on.

"Happy first day of school!" Scott says making Isabella and Sophia smile. Sawyer is still half asleep and yawns.

"I made you guys some yummy pancakes this morning! Get all of your tummies filled for an exciting school day." Mitch says as he and Scott make Sophia, Isabella and Sawyer's plates.

Scott hands Sawyer, Sophia and Isabella a glass of milk to drink.

"Yummy!" Sawyer says as he begins to dip his pancake in the syrup.

"Thank you, Daddy! These are yummy pancakes!" Sophia says.

"I wuv pancakes so so much!" Isabella says as she sips her milk.

"I'm glad guys love my pancakes. Scott, can you get Hudson and Liam up please?" Mitch asks Scott as he kisses him.

"Of course, love." Scott says as he smiles. Scott walks upstairs and sees Hudson's awake.

"Huddy, Daddy has breakfast ready. Happy first day of third grade!" Scott says as he plays with Hudson's medium length blonde hair.

Hudson walks downstairs to join Mitch, Amelia, Sawyer, Sophia and Isabella for breakfast.

Scott walks into Liam's bedroom and Liam is still passed out asleep. Scott giggles knowing Liam was just like him growing up, the last one up for school.

"Hey Liam. Liam. Wake up, bud." Scott says as Liam groans.

"It's your first day of middle school!" Scott says and Liam opens his eyes and yawns.

"Happy first day of middle school! Daddy made breakfast and then we are all getting dressed." Scott says and Liam gets out of bed.
