"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the Flesh, but according to the Spirit." -Romans 8:1

A good question to ask is, what is the definition of this verb "walk"? Walking involves more than one step. It is one thing to give into the Flesh for the moment, and then by the grace of God, realize your sin and forsake it. It is quite another thing to "walk" in the Flesh. Walking involves more than one step; it is an action of repeated steps moving towards a certain direction. "Practice" is another verb that involves the concept of repeated action. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and because of Christ, not all walk (repeated steps; practice) according to the Flesh. We may stumble seven times in our walk with God and be raised back up by His grace. The threat of condemnation is not for those who stumble but for those who walk, according to the Flesh.
