Different Things God is teaching Me

WHAT A MAN'S CULT vs. WHAT GOD'S CHURCH LOOKS LIKE

"O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” ~Psalm 16:2-3

A cult...in so many words...is that whose members may be united together, yet at the same time are not united with the Spirit of God....which includes the Word of God because it is the Spirit's Sword...NOR the Body of Christ.

Cults are those which seek to cut off the rest of the Body of Christ; they are only a potential member, yet they seek to make themselves as if they were the entire Body of Christ.

Not only do they seek to make this member (themselves) as the only Body of Christ, they seek to make a few select selves as though they were exclusively the Spirit and Voice of God...RATHER than that God speaks through all His people, His Spirit moves and gives life through all the members of Christ's Body.

Also, a cult is that whose members, as a unit, will not humble themselves before God and therefore will not humble themselves before each other through the manifestation of confession of struggles, weaknesses, faults, ministry of encouragements, ministry of longsuffering and hope, (e.g The fruits of the Spirit)....

There are other signs/marks/symptoms of a cult. What signs have you seen?

I need to be praying for those who may not yet have a saving knowledge of Jesus, yet who want out and don't know how or may not even know they need out.

BTW, this picture is proof of one of many flocks/facets/demonstrations/manifestations of the Body of Christ. We are not a cult. Though we gather and pray in secret (because we seek a Father who sees in secret) we are open to others fellowshipping with us and adding their gifts to our's that we may be both ministered by and minister to them. Thank you Father that You are everywhere and thus Your people are also everywhere!
