People who make this argument, believing they can remain separated and independent of the regular attendance/fellowship-gathering of God's people, have no ground to stand on in just light of the fact that Christ (who was God and had all knowledge and wisdom) still attended the Jewish synagogues which was His church of that time. Jesus, of all people, of any man, could have used such contemporary reasoning and excuses and justify Himself in being independent and not attending the "institutional church." Yet it is clear He chose not to do this but rather set an example by being in fellowship with the church.
