In this life, foundations are unadorned, hidden, and often forgotten. Yet they are the most important part to uphold and establish any dwelling.
Dwellings are the most beautiful, visualized, and remembered. Yet they are the most susceptible in being remodled or destroyed. Foundations are rarely destroyed and pulled up because either it is rarely necessary or it is too much work.
If God has destined you to never be recognized in this life and (seemingly) forgotten, it's very probable He has destined you as a part of His foundation rather than a dwelling; that is subjected to being altered.
Though He fashioned you in shadow and in silence, your boast in Him will be your song.

"For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. "O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires." ~Isaiah 54:10-11
"The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst." ~Revelation 21:19-20
"Those from among you shall build the old waste places. You shall raise up the foundations of many generations. And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In." ~Isaiah 58:12
