Some Thoughts/Lessons on Evangelism

Father God, to Your glory and my humility, please continue to mercifully grow this cleansing hope and truth in my Much-Afraid heart:

You are pleased and glorified by my stumbling to testify of You...

...than by my silence to testify of You.

You'd rather see me fail in the investment of my talents rather than the faithless, laziness to use them. 💔

THE CALL OF GOD TO THE FOOLISHNESS OF SPEAKING vs. THE COUNSEL OF MAN TO THE WISDOM OF SUCCESS

An unbelieving-deceived world is unashamed of objectively, boldly testifying to me their belief of truth and reality.

So, why am I ashamed of objectively and boldly testifying to them of what God proves is truth and reality?

Please pray for me

Brothers & sisters in Christ, you and I must remember and ever be reminded that when we evangelize, we should not be taking upon ourselves the stressful, vain and impossible challenge of changing minds & hearts for Christ.
God has already given and laid down the example in Jesus Christ (the voice of Wisdom in Proverbs) that we are to follow: "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear!" My soul, if they do not accept Christ, it is on them of if or when they choose to respond, not on you. Redeemed sinner, though you be redeemed, you cannot overcome the souls of fellow sinners; only He who is Redemption, is able because only He is greater than he who is in the world. You who already daily must fight off and crucify Flesh, cannot overcome the Flesh in another. Only He, who mercifully dwells in you Who is Life and Light, is able to bring light and life where there is darkness and death. You are not greater nor are you perfect like the Holy Spirit Who is perfect. He is able to accomplish more than your limited might and power could ever do.

Brothers & sisters, if they do not accept, not our message but the Gospel and Testimony of Christ, God will give us discernment and leading whether to stay and continue plowing, sowing, and watering...or, "move to the next city." Whether they will hear and obey God's Word from our lips is irrelevant. SUCCESS in our evangelism is secondary to our primary responsibility to SPEAKING humbly, His testimony. As Christian general Robert E. Lee put forth this timeless truth: "The duty is our's; the results, are God's. " In His own perfect plan and loving sovereignty, God will sort out the tares from the wheat. O my soul, let us focus on speaking and not worry for success. God will bring it about if He so chooses. He would see fumbling faithfulness rather than the paralysis of analysis to vainly achieve a perfect testimony.

Here is God's gracious, patient promise-assurance to His timorous and cowardly children, like me:

"Then Moses said to the Lord , “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord ? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” ~Exodus 4:10‭-‬12

"Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are  called.  But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord .” ~I Corinthians 1:20‭-‬21‭, ‬25‭-‬31
