A PURPOSE TO MY PERPLEXITY; HIS CALM TO MY CONFUSION

~A Note to my Soul

If it brings you anxiety and no rest...😣
If all you sense is confusion and no clarity...😥
And self-discernment feels useless because the lines remain blurred...😞

then you need to search-wrestle-pray through it until you find His peace; because:

"God is not the author of confusion, but of peace..." ~1 Corinthians 14:33

"God has not given you a spirit of fear [of anxiety], but a spirit of power, a spirit of love, and a spirit of a sound mind." ~2 Timothy 1:7

"You must not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:6-7

“The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? The Lord searches the heart and tests the mind..." ~Jeremiah 17:9-10

"...God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." ~1 John 3:20

"The Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. He will guide you with His eye." ~Psalm 32:8

"The Lord can be entrusted with all your heart. You are not to lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways to acknowledge Him; and He has promised to direct your paths. You should not be wise in your own eyes but rather fear the Lord, and depart from evil." ~Proverbs 3:5-7

"It is God (who commanded light to shine out of darkness) who has shone in your heart to give the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
You have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of you.
Though you are hard-pressed on every side, you are not crushed
Though you are perplexed, you are not in despair
Though persecuted, you are not forsaken
Though struck down, you are not destroyed
You are always carrying about in your body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in your body.
You who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in your mortal flesh." ~2 Corinthians 4:6-11
