Living within the boundaries of God's Word is like driving on a paved road. We experience the most freedom when we remain within the boundaries of the pavement. To divert, drive off it and attempt to navigate your self apart from what He has already laid down will produce a weary and frustrated life. You will end up stuck or crashed in the bushes of life's disasters.
If you have driven and wandered off and come to the point in confessing your rebellious foolishness and your need for His perfect wisdom, cease being afraid or ashamed for He is the Shepherd who came to seek and save that which is lost.
Father, in Your mercy cleanse our eyes to see it this way. True liberty is not living apart from You and Your rules but in them "which if a man does, he shall live by them." (Nehemiah 9:29)
"Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord and teach out of Your law.; that You may give him rest from the days of adversity." ~Psalm 94:12-13
