~ (BECAUSE OF PRESENT MERCY) THIS SPIRITUALLY BLIND MAN CRIES OUT
One of the (many) dangers my Flesh brings into my life-walk with God
is to get me to believe that I know (am familiar) enough about Him
to no longer need to seek Him through His Word & through prayer.
Like the church of Laodicea, I can be deceived into thinking that "(spiritually) I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing".
And it is the abundant mercy of God (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) manifested if He rebukes me and says "You do not know that you are actually wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. You have ceased to become poor in spirit, ceased to be meek, ceased in hungering and thirsting after righteousness, ceased to be merciful, & ceased to be pure in heart.
Do you want to see Me?
Then buy from Me gold refined in the fire; that you may be truly rich. Buy from Me white garments that you may be truly clothed and not have your nakedness exposed. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
As many as I love, (says the Amen, the Faithful & True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God), I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent."
