My weakness remains with me to humbly remind my soul that I am needy and dependent on (and not independent of) my Strength, my Savior.
How He turns the stripes of sin's most bitter scourge, Despair, to completely impoverish and empty me of my self sufficiency and self worth (righteousness & justification) so that this earthen vessel might properly and mercifully be filled with true and everlasting worth, redeemed into the beauty of Christ!
He allows these winters and famines to lay waste to my self-sufficient stores in order that nothing might hinder me from experiencing, understanding and being overcome by His resurrection and the fullness of His joy!
