AMBASSADORS (WHO STRUGGLE WITH DECEPTION) THAT THE MEDIATOR HAS SENT, TO A DECEIVED WORLD
~
Though I do not condone any rebellion or deception on their part, I can empathize with my LGBTQ acquaintances, friends, and family for the sexual feelings they have. I can empathize, first, not because I am some amazing, kind person but because Christ is within me and...second, because I know the unique "desires" and "attractions" that naturally occur and suggest themselves to me, I have to wrestle with and crucify daily.
Though one is redeemed from captivity by Christ, Christ will not let His redeemed forget who they once were: "You shall remember you were once slaves in the land of Egypt." Nor does He redeem us to the point of being beyond the need for constant, continual, faithful redemption, cleansing. There is a flesh within me and you that ever seeks to drag us back into the past, undermine, and betray our freedom. When we do not forget our past, the past becomes a lamp that sheds light on understanding His mercy and of our complete insufficiency, the bankruptcy of our spiritual worth and merits; in the present and the years to come. Therewith, we are then equipped to properly minister and heal those in the grip and deception of the LGBTQ mindset. We will not be so quick as to discount them in the name of God (Who is Grace, Mercy, Longsuffering), lest we discount and deem ourselves unworthy of everlasting life.
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU.
But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." ~I Corinthians 6:9-11
"For if WHEN WE WERE ENEMIES, WE WERE RECONCILED to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life." ~Romans 5:10
"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ RECONCILING THE WORLD to Himself, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES TO THEM, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God." ~II Corinthians 5:18-20
