Christ would cease being the Loving-Divine Physician that He is, if He had impatience and anger toward His image bearers infected with the sickness of sin.
On the other hand, He would also cease being the Loving-Divine Physician if He overlooked and disregarded the sickness of sin that slowly corrodes the soul He created.
See, God's compassion and mercy for the sinner exists to rectify the sickness of sin within him, not justify it; to atone that he may be healed, and not condone that he may remain in his sickness.
