“La la la la la la la...
Do dum dum dum.. Ahh ahh ahh ahh..”
That song with her sweet voice was in my mind that whole night. I think I barely slept because of that. It’s.. I guess that was a perfect description of a heavenly voice. Not that I believe in heaven or superficial things but damn, she sounded as if.. Ugh. Having lexical gap at this moment is inevitable, I tell you.
I know I acted protective on the ‘hand incident’ last night. After I told Drew that Lester broke up with Alice, he told me to guard her from every boy she’ll meet. He somehow knew how Alice would feel and I quote, ‘If you have to scare the boys, do so.’
I’m just doing what I was told so I rigidly took of the man's hand from her. What pisses me off was her reaction. She said she's 'okay' with those condoning eyes like she's a saint.
I don't like innocent-looking bitches.
And whenever I’m pissed, I can’t keep track in everything that I do.. Just like what happened that night. I was following her for two weeks but it’s the first time she felt my presence.. I knew was too near but..
And I didn’t want her to be frightened that’s why I decided to be seen by her. Ugh.
I packed some of my things to go to a hospital. I was bored following Alice for two weeks now and I guess it accepting this assignment wouldn’t affect anything. I just need more or less three hours to do it.
I parked my motorcycle outside the hospital as soon as I arrived an hour later. I grabbed the drug I would use and walked in the emergency entrance with a nursing uniform, a facemask and an authentic ID. I got it from Drew, of course. He had these magical hands that could falsify anything and it would appear as if it was authentic. I guess that’s one of the perks of having lots of connection in this country..
As soon as I got in to the emergency entrance, I saw a cart full of medicines pushed a cart and went into one of the rooms in the ICU.
When I found the patient, I was lucky that there are no nurses around. I grabbed the drug and a syringe from the cart. I carefully transfer the drug into the syringe and inject it to the patient. It was succinylclorine, used as anesthesia but it could be fatal if the dosage was not right. I put in the whole little bottle, just to make sure. The patient would feel numb and later on his heart would stop beating. The cause of his heart failure wouldn’t be known unless they’d conduct a blood test.. Let’s hope they’re dumb enough not to conduct and besides he’s old enough to land six feet under.
I quickly pushed the cart outside the ICU and leave the cart where I found it.
I got outside and left.
