Side Note: B.A.U means Behavioral Analysis Unit.
Pidge found herself growing rather curious over the B.A.U that had arrived at the small town out of nowhere. She had known the Sheriff wasn't the one to call them when he seemed surprised and spooked over their arrival at the latest crime scene.
The town didn't like outsiders coming along to snoop, not when they would never apologize for their own wrong doings towards others. Hated strangers judgment aimed towards them for their past actions and yet, they still judged wrongly towards others.
Pidge liked watching the Sheriff squirm under the agents stares. Smiling to herself in delight as he made a complete fool of himself before the unit while they were merely asking basic questions and for a place to set up.
Whenever a crime scene filled the local news, she made her arrival to the scene. Not to stare in horror towards the ashes of the crime scene or gag by the smell of the burnt victims being carried out. The remains of a fire never bothered her, not anymore.
She came for the B.A.U, to watch their reactions to the crime scene and their body language as they began to run theories from what they all saw. Half listening to phone calls towards their fellow agents from what she was able to hear and listening to what they told the sheriff.
Antok's one rule had was to always stay away from the crime scenes, more so during their longer visits to a location. He knew that one wrong move and they'd be caught. He warned her he wouldn't be able to rescue her if she's taken away.
Even as she stood as the age of twenty-five, if she was accused and caught of a crime, she'd be left to fall into the hands of jail without his help. It was stupid to visit each and every crime scene but she had grown curious over the B.A.U.
She had grown most curious over the very handsome agent that had caught her attention since her first watch at him looking over a crime scene.
It wasn't a surprise that he noticed her lurking at each scene and decided to make a move before she could run. Though, she was pleased to be given a chance to speak with him in person instead of from all the research she's gained from hacking into his file.
Agent Kogane, Keith, had questioned over her amount of time spent in the small town. Not seemed surprised when she mentioned she didn't live here, was never raised here. She was merely travelling, trying to find herself and stopped at the town for a rest from her long travels.
He had questioned over her thoughts about the town, about the people. He had known something wasn't wrong with all the friendly and helpful people around him. His instincts told him not to trust them.
Pidge got to see just how smart he was behind such a pretty but grumpy looking face.
He was hoping for an outsiders point of view over the town, the people and the latest arsonist attacks happening. To see if any normal stranger felt the shift in the air, the change in the vibe with each passing crime.
Offered his card to her, knowing it was best if she reached out and reported anything strange during her stay in the town. He informed her not to leave until they've caught the unsub. Told her to maybe stay close by to others so it'd be noticed if she had gone missing.
