Okay, Heart me Out on two things, please.

A, don't judge over the fanart photo used. I found zero Kidge musketeers fanart to use to try and win you all over with. I have a few knights Kidge au and blade of marmora au fanart but they didn't give the same vibe.

B, Pretty Please with a cherry one top listen to my oneshot idea rant.

I want to tell someone over it because I FEAR I do not have the energy to stay inspired for it to write it fully and I want to at least tell people over the oneshot idea I had. Maybe during an late night when my insomnia is kicking my butt again, I'll be able to write it in one go and bam, upldate.

For now, listen to my rambles, please.

As hinted, it's a Musketeers AU with Kidge.

But with a twist.

Colleen is the daughter of a musketeer and was raised to be as skilled with a sword as an musketeer was. Her Dad had taught her EVERYTHING he had known, uncaring that his only child was a daughter not a son. He trained his daughter as hard as he did a son and allowed his daughter to help train future musketeers in the courtyard.

Promising that any man that could defeat his daughter in their First fight with her, would be allowed to mock and insult her for being a women with a sword.

NONE had EVER Won.

Colleen's Father was VERY smug over that fact and willingly sent newbie musketeers in training to get their butts kicked by his daughter to help teach them a lesson on viewing women as strong as he's always known them to be.

When Colleen fell in love with Sam, a blacksmiths, he was also expected to hold some sword fighting skills by her Father. Her father wouldn't allow just anyone to marry his warrior of a daughter, even if it was true love. He wanted his daughter to be safe in life, to have her soulmate beside her and could protect her during her own vulnerable times in life.

So, Sam took sword fighting lessons from Colleen in secret. Colleen thrilled over her future husband willing to pick up a sword he's made and fight with it just to bring comfort to her father and her.

Sam wasn't overly good but he'd survive a fight with some musketeers at least. Proven so by Colleen father acting calling forward a group of musketeers to fight Sam on a random day to prove if Sam could protect his daughter or not. When Sam won, he gave his future's wife's father blessing over their marriage and love.

Both marry and sadly, Colleen's father dies a couple years afterwards.

With Colleen's father gone, Colleen isn't allowed to train the musketeers anymore and help improve their skillsets. Most of the older musketeers argue back against her being fired and most of the younger who respect her also stand up for her but Colleen ends up leaving. She is only a women to everyone else after all.

They leave Paris and move to England where Sam was originally from but had travelled to France to learn his hand in blacksmiths better after learning all he could from his own family. Sam also wanted to learn more languages and knew practice in use was the best way to learn better.

Both live a stable and happy life together.

Colleen still practices with her sword and Sam makes her one on her important birthdays and repairs her old ones when they're over used. Sam owning his own Blacksmiths in the new small town they live in.
