Side Note: I've dragged all other Parts together already and will be dragging this Extra chapter towards the other parts after a few days to a couple of weeks have passed. 

Lance stared smitten-ly towards his girlfriend as she lazed across the longue chair, nose buried in whatever giant book she's chosen to read for fun and looking absolutely stunning to him. His tail swayed from side to side, giggly content as he admires the love of his love from where he's laid across the floor by the window. Ears twitching with each breath Pidge takes, proving she was still here with him and never going to be stolen from him again. 

"Stop staring" Pidge scolds towards him as she turns another page, feeling his gaze burning into her without even having to lift her gaze from the words spread across the opened page of the book she's chosen to read. 

"How can you even tell I'm staring when that book is bigger than my whole head?!" Lance huffs back as he rolls to lay on his back, sulking as he sends a light glare towards the books gaining all of his true love's attention instead of him. 

"The power of your love and can shoot through any item" Pidge casually throws back at him, closing her book as she knows he wouldn't let her read anymore until she's given him her full attention. 

Lance grins like the love sick fool he is, tacking the complaint as a compliment as always and loving how powerful his love is deemed to be. Not caring as his girlfriend rolls her eyes at him, more fond than annoyance by now. 

A gurgle catching their attention and both watching as a just over one year old Shane comes wobbling in by himself. Walking slow and steady, never in a hurry to reach his destination as he didn't want to fall over and hurt himself. The toddler Ogre was as cautious as his parents were and as much of a scary cay at them too. 

Neither Demi-Gods were surprised to find him alone, Shane was always free to roam the mansion as it was protected by a safety charm hanged on the inside and a protection spell casted on it from the outside. 

The mansion was a gift from both Queen Allura and King Lotor, their own apology over exposing Pidge last year. It was now the Gunderson's Team homebase and their actual full term home when they weren't travelling to save cursed royals. 

Looking after themselves had grown just as important as helping others and now, they allowed themselves to take winter off every year. Even if this was their first winter off, they all plan to take at least two months off every year to rest and spend time together that didn't involve rescuing cursed royals, fighting their protectors and always running for their lives. 

It also meant that King Matthew and newly Queen Romelle could visit them for a full week once a year now and grow a better friendship with them all. As well as Matt gain a chance to have his little sister back in his life and get to know her better. No one had held complaints over Matthew growing to be king while both his parents were still alive and both Holt parents were basically imprisoned to  their holiday mansion on the edge of the country.
