A/N: This is an Pitch Black (2000) film Au. I'm going to add a few twists and changes to make it work better for me.

What is Pitch Black film about?

A deep space transporter crash-lands on a desolate planet circled by three suns. Among the survivors are pilot Carolyn Fry, mystic Abu 'Imam' al-Walid, cop William J Johns and convicted criminal Richard B Riddick, and their first thoughts are of survival and escape. Then Fry finds out that the planet suffers a total eclipse every 22 years, which is when the hibernating, flesh-eating inhabitants awake and hunt.

What to know about the eyes?

The eyes have what is known as "eyesheen," a surgical enhancement that provides permanent night vision but causes extreme sensitivity to bright light. The surgery, which gives his eyes a reflective quality similar to a cat's. This enhancement allows him to see perfectly in the dark but forces him to wear specialized goggles or stay in low-light conditions during the day.

Side Note: This is more of a prior relationship for Kidge. This chapter is how they first meet, a pre-relationship thing. I plan to hopefully write another part where they're much older and dating. So, Kidge isn't in a romantic relationship in this chapter. But you might get a few Kidge moments happen without the romance.
