(Shape Shifter) Spirit x Reader part 2

(Spirits pov)
The moment I got close enough to see what came to the valley that fell from the sky, i saw that it was a two legged creature, but not the same as the ones sleeping on the floor.
I chuffed and the two legged creature has untied the horses and said to them as they looked at the creature.
"Go your free now, go while you still can".
The sound of this creatures voice surprised me.
They were helping these horses escape, and away from the two legged creatures sleeping.
I chuffed asking what's going on.
The creature stiffened and i was stunned by their beauty and grace.
I saw tiny horses on their neck and on their ears.
The creature looked to the ones that were sleeping and they said to me whispering.
"Ssh, youll wake them up".
The horses they helped spoke to me.
"She's helping us escape.
She's unlike any human we met".
I looked at the creature knowing what made her different.
Knowing that she was setting these horses free has warmed my heart, it also began beating like it does when I'm running.
Ill have to ask my mom what this feeling is, i was also fasinated by her.
She then said looking at the men worried.
"I hate to interrupt the fascinating conversation you guys are having.
But we got to go before these horse ranglers wake up".
I chuffed at the horses.
"Whats she talking about"?
The gray one nudged her shoulder and said.
"We were taken from our family's, they are called horse ranglers cause they sold us to a union of soldiers to fight in a war.
But she doesn't look like them, her spirit is almost like ours.
If we don't leave now or, um sorry I forgot to ask for your name".
I chuffed.
"Spirit, you"?
He then said.
"Derek, these are my brothers.
But we got to go, they tend to hang woman for seting men's property free".
Derek nudge the woman's shoulder and she said.
"Why are you doing that"?
I then said to the horses understanding he wanted her to get on his back.
"I got this".
I got on my neeks and she looked at me shooked and she said pointing to me then herself.
"You want me to get on your back"?
I nodded and she said feeling nerves.
"Okay, you sure"?
I chuffed and she got on and said as i stood.
"Wow, okay, this is cool.
(I looked at her and she said.)
This is the first time im on a horses back excuse me for feeling uncomfertable and for some reason.
(I chuffed at the same time with her.)
Comfertable".
I then started to walk and those horses followed me.
Once in the trees, i got ready to run back to my herd.
The human girl then said senseing i was about to run.
"Oh wait".
I sensed her unease and stopped.
I didn't want to make her scared and Derek said explaining when i looked at her concerned.
"She's afriad of falling off.
Without a saddle or reins she'll get hurt falling off from your back".
I chuffed to the girl and she looked back at me.
I then said useing my human voice.
"What's your name"?
Her eyes widened and she said.
"You can talk"?
I nodded and said lightly smiling.
"Yes, my name's spirit, what's your name"?
She then said.
"Y/n".
I then said.
"Well y/n i promise you won't fall off.
Just grab onto my hair.
You won't fall off i promise".
She then said taking a gental hold of my mane, not close to the roots and not to close to the ends.
"This okay"?
I then said.
"Perfect".
I then ran and she stayed on liked i promised.
Once at my herd my mom chuffed.
"Spirit what's on your back"?
I then said in my human voice.
"Mom, this is y/n she helped these horses held by human men.
She's cool".
Y/n held her hand up and waved lightly saying.
"Hi spirits mom".
She smiled at y/n and came over and chuffing looking at y/n.
"I like her, her spirit its-".
I then said.
"Almost like ours".
Y/n held her hand close and my mom chuffed getting closer to y/n's arm telling her its okay yo pet her.
"You can pet me y/n".
Y/n slowing put her hand on my mom's mane and slowly went up and down.
Derek then said walking over.
"If we don't move those ranglers will find y/n and hang her for freeing us".
I then asked and y/n stiffened at what i said.
"Why would they hang her"?
Y/n then said fear creeping up on her.
"You guys might see it as freeing you from cruelty, but those ranglers see it as thievery.
If they catch me i don't only lose freedom.
But my life".
I then said to y/n.
"I won't let that happen to you, your one of us now and i protect my herd".
She fiddle with what was on her neck and she said.
"Its been a long time since I was with other living beings".
I then said looking at her.
"What's that on your neck"?
Y/n then said holding it up.
"My necklace why"?
I then said.
"Its suits you, those things on your ears match to".
Y/n then said.
"Earings".
I then asked as the other horses woke up, knowing we have to leave since Derek was going around to gather them.
"Where did you get them"?
She then said saddened.
"My mom, she's gone.
These were the last things she given me".
I then said feeling her saddness.
"Im sorry for your loss".
Y/n then said .
"The ones we love never really leave us, we just can't see them".
I then said.
"Wise words.
If it makes you feel better you can pet my mane".
She did and i said to everyone.
"We have to leave, these horse ranglers won't stop until they take away our new friends and new family members away".
They nieghed in agreement and i ran first, y/n stayed on and the others followed me.
Y/n yawned and Derek said runing beside me.
"She must of been up all night
She'll need sleep".
I then said seeing that we traveled enough for a good few hours.
"Okay".
I stopped and I got on my neeks and y/n slightly stumbled and i caught her.
She sat down and i said .
"Rest, we'll travel after you rest".
She then said.
"I don't want it to be my fault that your herd will get captured.
I'll hold up for another few hours".
I then said feeling that she'll stick to it.
"Okay, but we'll have to run slow so you don't fall".
She got back on my back and I got up.
We all began running until we saw human civilisation.
Derek said confused.
"Native Americans".
Y/n then said seeing they were coming toward us.
"Why are they coming toward us"?
I raised my upper half amd stomped.
They stopped and y/n said .
"Easy, spirit, i think their just.
(She swayed amd i imeaditly got to my neeks and she held on as she got off.)
Curious".
She fell alseep and i said chuffing.
"Y/n".
A human man came over and said.
"She okay"?
I neighed at him loudly and he backed up and he said after coming back with a piece of fabric.
"She'll freeze".
Derek then said coming over.
"Humans don't have fur so they use blankets to keep warm".
I toke the fabric and the human man let go as i placed it over her and layed my head.
Worried about her.
