One thing I forgot about living under the same roof as my enthusiastic cousin.
She was up at odd hours, and asleep the same amount.
The storm in south Dakota was worse, tip of the ice berg.
Turned out it was the beginning of a hurricane.
So me and Anna had alot of family time.
Most of it was spent reading romantic novels.
What rainy weather was perfect for book reading.
I sat up and pasted by my desk where the news paper of the high schools flooding made front page.
It will take a week maybe two at most to fix all the water log damage replace the school supplies, and replace the technology.
Thankfully your cousin stocked up on grocerys.
I then sighed as I remembered the moment you saw Damian.
The rain stopped long enough that i can get some fresh air.
I opened my window and i looked to my cousins bedroom.
Her light just turned off, i smiled thankfully that she getting some sleep.
Storms always seemed to keep us both awake.
I fiddled with the last ring my mother got me before she died.
There was a storm that night to, the sound of the rain was just a constant reminder of that night.
I closed my eyes and the sound of the pounding rain from memory covered the sound of a certain vampire scaling the wall up to my bedroom.
But there was a new memory that popped up.
Damian walking with me back to my home.
The feeling of a gental breeze blowing my hair back brought me back to my senses.
I opened my eyes to see Damian smiling at me.
I then said quielty, smiling .
"Damian you came back".
He then smiling and said holding his hand out.
"Come with me I want to show you something".
I looked down atthe ground and Damian said holding my chin up.
"I'll always protect you".
I then take a gental hold of his hand and he held onto me as it seemed like we flew back to flat ground.
We landed in a feild and Damian then said.
"When the storm got worse the animals and life in the forest hid.
(He turned me to look at the moon being uncovered.
The clouds were fading away.)
It was complete darkness, it started the night i met you.
(I looked to Damian and he said.)
But unlike every storm that came through during storm season, it was still bright".
He mentioned to a openeing and i smiled seeing a deer.
A little one, curious to.
Brave enough to wander away from their mother.
It saw us and tilted his head.
The lights in the area sparkled and the fawn came closer.
It rubbed my hand and it let me pet their head.
Damian then said.
"I wanted you to see what i look forward to when the storms end.
I always wanted to show someone this.
To experience and share this with.
(I looked to Damian and he said.)
Thought i only know you for a few days.
But it feels like my heart only beats for you y/n.
(He toke your hand and placed it on his heart where you can feel the slow beats.)
I love you y/n.
(My heart skipped a beat and damian smiling lightly and he saw my blush.)
And judging by your heart rate and blush you feel the same way".
I then said as he stared at my lips.
"I have since we met".
We leaned into each other and that when we heared it.
A growl, and from the way Damian reacted.
He knew what it was.
Damian got me behind him and looked to where it came from.
Damian then said as the pizza boy came out.
"You".
The pizza boys lifted his head and his fangs were out.
The guy then said.
"She's mine".
Damian then said growling.
"Over my dead body".
The pizza boy then said.
"Ill be happy to grant you that request".
I then said.
"Damian".
Damian held my hand said said lowly.
"I'll protect you".
The pizza boy then said.
"Believe me y/n youll never see him again, just liel your parents".
I looked at him and i said.
"You".
Damian kept me behind him and i said yelling at him.
"You murdered them why"!?
The pizza boy toke off his hat and said.
"When i saw your picture i fell hard for you, but your parents wouldn't let me tag along so i sabotaged their break line.
I tried to track you.
(The pizza boy growled at damian.)
But Damian kept any trace of you hidden".
I then said.
"Your a dead man walking".
The pizza boy smirked and said.
"Yeah how so"?
Damian moved and the energy i felt moved in the form of a vine.
Got the vampire that murdered my parents and he gasped.
Damian then said.
"Cause she isn't oridnary.
Shes extrodinaey".
Damian ripped the guys head off and threw it out.
Damian came back to me and hugged me.
I relaxed and damian said.
"Thank God your okay".
I then said.
"I just got you, im not losing you to".
Damian then said rubbing my back.
"Im not going anywhere anytime soon".
We looked to each other and then finally kissed.
Forgot his fangs were out from that growling match.
They scrapped and he paused.
I could taste alittle bit of iron, but not to much.
Damian kissed my brusied bottom and said as his eyes glowed a light blueish purple.
He then said.
"One thing i was told by the vampire that turned me is that i know who my soulmate truley is by tasting their blood.
My eyes would change temperaliy to a light purple.
(He rubbed his thumb over my cheek.
And he said.)
And the way you looked at my eyes it did happen.
Im so happy it's you".
He kissed me again and i kissed him back.
Our attention was pulled away from the fawn nudging into us, and tail wagging.
Damian then said as we looked at the sweet brave deer.
"Thus one probably lost its mother".
I then said as i picked the fawn up.
"Well it's got us".
Damian smield and said.
"Lets get you two home.
(I toke hold of his hand and he said giving a reassuring squeeze.)
Don't worry, i won't leave you unless you want me to".
I then said pecking his lips.
"Believe me when i say this.
Your stuck with me".
He smield and said.
"Its your choice.
I don't want to loss you either, but i dont want to take away your mortaliy".
I then said.
"Its my choice and you know which choice ill make".
Damian then said squeezing your hand.
"I know, but let's wait for a little bit".
I nodded and Damian picked up up as he walked back to my family home.
He scaled the wall and into my room.
He set me on the bed and layed beside me aling with the baby deer.
Happy that Damian is staying with me.
And not only, hes my soulamte.
And I have a pet deer, so life imeaditly got better.
