If anyone told me I be in the flash, i would of thought they were nuts.
If they also said I be a meta that can run faster than the speed of sound I would of said you have a way more overactive imagination than I do.
But now here I am, sitting in jitters the coffee shop ordering a cup of coffee a year and nine months of the partical excalitrater exploding.
Iris then said coming over.
"Hey you".
I turned to her at normal speed, iris was pretty observant.
If she noticed anything she found off, then she would tell Barry, cause she was the concerned friend, and a mother hen.
I then said holding back my yawn.
"Hey".
She then said seeing that i yawned with my mouth closed.
"Long night"?
She was pulling out a menu, and my usual two bear claws.
Long night alright, a long night of having to outrun the fastest man alive.
I then said as she placed the bear claws.
"Couldn't sleep, should of taken that sleeping pill".
She then said.
"You remind me of my bestfreind.
(I didn't stiffen and i listened to her.)
If he couldn't sleep, he work on forensics.
And he,
(She handed a menu and i started looking.)
Was alot more tired after he finsihed what he was working on.
Especially since the man in yellow turns out to be real".
I then said as i picked my drink.
"Well the impossible is somthing that hasn't been made possible.
(I looked at her and she looked shocked that I was quoting her best friend dispite not meeting him.)
Yet.
The existence of meta's of a prime example".

I then said seeing her expression.
"Okay you are making me jittery just looking at me like that what did i say"?
She then said shacking it off.
"Nothing my best friend says the same thing.
But i guess your saying it is because of the impossible being real".
I then said.
"He says it cause of trama".
She nods and i said.
"I do to,
(She looked at me and i explained.)
The moment that I arrived here I lost my family.
Then the partical excalitrater blew, and well you know the rest".
As soon I was strucked by the lightning I ran to an abanded house next to Joe's place before passing out.
Woke up to Joe finding me gasping.
Iiris became my best friend, and Joe helped me get a job at the station.
Today was my day off.
She then patted my hand and said.
"Well you have me and Joe, now you want the pumpkin spice"?
I then said looking at the calendar on the jitters employees board.
"What the hey?
It's almost Halloween".
She went right to work and then i heared it, the speeding winds.
Barry was coming.
He just stopped and i didn't look at him.
I eat my bear claws and iris just placed my coffee down.
She then said moving from behind the counter.
"Barry hey"!
They hugged and i sipped my coffee.
Thought this didn't have enough caffeine to keep me from blacking out, it was good.
I couldn't add the caffeine powder in it without him seeing it.
Iris came over and said.
"Y/n this is barry.
(I turned and he looked at me surprised.)
Barry this is y/n".
I then said holding my hand out.
"Nice to put a name to a face.
You work in the lab".
He then said.
"Yeah, nice to meet you to".
I then said playfully.
"Cat got your tounge"?
He then said.
"Nothing it's just, feel like i seen you before".
He and I were struck in the same room.
I was in his lab and i was huddled in my jacket freezing.
He didn't see my face.
But he was helpful and promised to help me find my family.
Dispite me knowing better.
I then said.
"We do work in the same station, but we never crossed each other's paths.
But we know the same officer".
Barry and i said at the same time.
"Joe".
Iris laughed as we stared at each other.
She then said.
"You two are so similar".
A watriess triped as she walked by me.
I acted fast but also at normal human cababilty.
I used my flexibility muscles to bend and catch the cup and my leg was on the bulted seat.
I bended as the waitress landed on me.
I stiffened and said as the wrapped up scone landed on my face.
"You okay Danny"?
She then said kinda winded since she landed on a body.
"Yeah, im fine thank you y/n".
She toke the scone and i said carefull not to move.
"Anytime".
I then said to iris.
"Iris im stuck and i might accidently drop this".
She toke it and Danny then said helping me sit up.
"How did you do that"?
I then said as i stretched my leg.
"Used to be in gymnastics.
Practice every Thursday".
Barry then said as iris stayed.
"That was pretty quick".
I then said.
"Yeah, they teach how to stretch and use our body's in any situation.
That was similar to a yoga move".
I then said as my phone vibrated.
Meta alert.
"Well that is my que to head home,
(I got up slowly dispite my muscles healing.)
And probably relax in a warm bath".
Iris then said.
"You sure i can't drive you"?
I waved my hand and said.
"Hush hush.
Ill be fine, i don't live to far from here anyway.
See you later".
I walked out of there and I walked home carefully.
Once inside my home i put on my specialty made uniform.
I then said as i got out carefully to not be seen and then fast changed a few blocks away from my house.
"Time to see what's going on".
I then ran to where the alert said the meta was spotted.
The water was circling the kid that was in the middle of it.
I then said seeing she was crying.
"Hey sweet heart".
She then cried out and the water reacted.
"They left me"!
I then said sitting criss cross apple sauce and she looked at me.
"My parents left me to, alittle bit younger than you are.
(She started to relax and i said.)
I was adopted and now, they are gone.
(I then said seeing the water relax.)
I can help you, i know your scared.
I was scared after i got my gifts to".
She then said as the water slowly disappeared.
"When my parents saw me playing with water they were so scared of me.
But i would never hurt anyone".
I then said.
"I know.
(I shuched closer and then asked.)
You want a hug"?
She sniffled and the water went away.
She then ran to me and hugged me.
I hugged her back and i said rubbing her back.
"I got you sweet heart, i got you".
She then said.
"Abby, my name's abby".
I then said.
"My name's Mercury Abby".
She wipped her eye and i stood up.
I then said.
"Your probably thirsty, how about we get you something sweet".
She then said.
"Thank you mercury".
I then said booping her nose.
"Anytime kiddo".
I then said.
"Now hold on".
She nodded and and held on.
I then ran to jitters and said looking at her.
"You want hot chocolate"?
She nodded and i walked in, everyone stared.
Iris then said.
"Oh my God it's mercury"!
Danny then said coming over.
"How can we help the roman goddess of centrally city"?
I then said.
"A hot chocalte and
(I asked abby.)
You want a cookie"?
She nodded eyes sparkling.
And i continued.
"And a couple of cookies".
Iris came over and said.
"Hi, im iris west, i write a blog and was wondering if i can ask some questions"?
I then said.
"Maybe later, im going to see if someone would like to raise this sweet girl".
Abby hid her face in my red hair, iris then said.
"Oh course".
Danny came back and said showing a table.
"Here, you might want to take a load off".
