(Y/n's pov)
You want to know what I love about the state of Washington D.C. ?
The sights, the food, the history, and the art.
But most of all I like to sometimes pop over to surprise my old man.
That's the reason I love homecoming's so much.
But this time Edward asked if he could join me, see my old stomping grounds, meet my old friends and my father.
Though I don't really agree with the way the base was designed and it has been awhile since I seen this place, it was beautiful.
Like a home away from home since I techinically work here.
Edward then said spoting my father with his special eyes, which I taken to call his vampire sight.
"That's your father,
(He raised an eyebrow and said.)
The one that drives like he's in a high speed chase?
The father where you learned to drive like that"?
I smiled and nodded and said.
"He's a Navey cop, How else is he suppose to catch the bad guy"?
Edward smile seemed to match mine and I said looking at him.
"Okay, once he's inside we can exit the car.
He's like a ninja, not even me or Abby can get by him when he's outside".
Edward then said as I reach to the back seat to get the plastic bag full of items for each member of my dad's team.
"What about the others"?
I then said.
"I called Abby this morning to distract Kate, Tony and Migee.
Oh, she's a hugger by the way".
Once outside I pulled out my honorary NCIS badge so I could get in.
Edward playing human by my side since now it's raining.

Edward asked as we are going down to the morgue.
"Does Abby work in the morgue"?
I shook my head and said before stepping infront of the glass double doors.
"Jimmy and ducky work here, if I know my dad, he'll have everyone down here on a few mintues".
I walked in and ducky said think I was dad.
"Your pretty fast Jethro I haven't even taken my gloves off yet".
I then said smiling, seeing Jimmy's shocked expression, before ducky looked up.
"Hello duck".
His head snapped up and he said smiling coming over to hug me.
"Oh my God,
Y/n is that really you?
(He hugged me and said.)
What a pleasant surprise".
I then said looking to the double doors.
"I also brought a friend with me this time".
Jimmy then said as Edward toke the hood of his rain coat off.
"And an extremely good looking friend".
Edward smiled politely and said holding his hand out to ducky.
"Im Edward Cullen, it's a pleasure to meet the famous Doctor Donald Mallard.
(Edward then shook Jimmy's hand.)
And you must be Jimmy Palmer, Y/n's told me so much about you all I think I already know you".
Ducky then said.
"Oh please dear boy, call me ducky your y/n's friend
Everyone calls me that.
(He whispered to Edward and I had to fight the blush coming.)
Only y/n called me Ducy because of hwr lis".
Jimmy then said hearing Kate, Tony and Megee arguing with Abby.
"Their coming.
Hide".
I toke hold of edwards hand and we hide behind the autopsy table.
Edward theb whispered before the doors opened.
"They always like this"?
I nodded and said.
"Little bit yeah".
I held my fingers up and counted before standing up with Edward.
Ducky then said.
"Will you guys stop bickering we have a guest".
Dad theb said.
"Dead men don't talk duck".
Ducky then said with a smile on hus face.
"Not that guest".
I stood up with Edward and Abby said running over in her platforms.
"Y/n your here".
I almost fell over, if Edward didn't have his hand on the small of my back.
I then said silently thanking edward.
"Abby".
Kate then said coming over.
"Oh my gosh Y/n".
I gotten a griup hug and said introducing Edward.
"Everyone this is edward.

(Abby hugged him.)
That's Abby, the forensic genies.
(He and migee shook hands and i siad.)
This is migee.
(Tony had his arms crossed and I said.)
This is Tony.
(I went to my dad and hugged him.)
And this is their fearless leader my father Gibbs".
Dad then said smiling.
"Nice to meet you Edward, hope my daughter didn't scare you with her driving".
Edward then said.
"I learned to get used to it".

(Time skip)

I could not believe Tony was challenging Jacob and Edward to a drinking game.
I sat with Bella and Victoria, weird that someone that wanted to kill her was now her best friend.
I could feel the jealous glares from all the way to the bar as I tried and failed to stop Tony.
I then said looking at them.
"What"?
Bella then said shacking her head.
"Sorry y/n we are just alittle miffed.
How do you even do it"?
Victoria then said.
"Its like all the guys fall for you, you have pull that rivals a vampries".
I then said raising my hands.
"I don't know".
Abby came pver with our drinks and said.
"Here you go guys,
One vodka soda for you Victoria.
(Victoria smiled.)
And water for you Bella.
(Bella said her thanks )
And y/n plain soda".
I then said leaning back.
"Thanks abb's.
Sp i heared my dad building a new boat, how far is he into this one"?
Abby then said.
"He actually finished it.
Name it the Kelly".
I paused and Bella then said.
"Isn't Kelly"?
I nodded and sipped my soda and said quietly.
"My sister, she died in the crash with my mom.
I was lucky to even be alive long even to be delivered when the Emp found out I still had a heart beat".
Edward never knew this, I could never bring up my older sister and mother because their loss still wayed on me, though I never got to meet then, it hurt to know that I never will.
Abby then said.
"Im so sorry Y/n, I shoudnt-".
I then said smiling.
"Its okay abb's, I'm fine".
I looled at Edward from the corner of my eye and then I said looking to the girls getting up after finishing my soda.
"I'll see you guys tommorrow.
I'm going to turn in".
I went to my car, my dad old car from when he was a teenager that grandpa finished restoring for him.
That dad gave to me on my last visit.
I wipped my tears and Edward said as,he kept me steady.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you".
I then said shacking my head as the tears came out.
"I know that nothing can't be done, but I cant help it.
Why did they doe while I-,
(My throat closed on me and he held me.)
It's not fair".
He then said.
"I know, I know.
(He lifted my chin and said.)
But never think those thoughts, if you didn't survice, I would of gotten to meet the most amasing, brave, strong and loving women I've been looking for all my life".
'You knew, you knew my feelings this whole time'?
Edward then said smiling.
"Actually Jasper knew".
I then said.
"That's why you came"?
He nodded and said.
"I love you to and I'll always be with you.
I'm not going anywhere".
I then kissed him and he kissed me back.
Tony then said to Jacob.
"Dang it, i owe you jacob".
Jacob smiled like a smart Alec, they left as we pulled away.
Edward then said as I held in my yawn.
"Here ill drive you home".
I rested on the passenger seat and he carried me in to my dads house.
Dad was probably passed out in the basement again drinking bourbon as he worked on another project.
Edward set me on my bed in my old bedroom and asked seeing my name carved on the post.
"Did you make this"?
I then said.
"Me and my dad did actually, it was what we did to boned and hang out when he didn't have work keeping him from home".
Edward then said.
"Like father like daughter".
I then said smiling as I remembered.
"Turns out liking horses is in my family blood".
Edward smiled and said.
"I would be surprised if you didn't".
Dad then said as he saw Edward tuck me in as i lay my head down, eyes closed.
"So tell me Edward, when did you become a vampire"?
Dad explained softly.
"I know you father, he saved my life in the feild when I was a marine.
He told me about you after ai asked if he had any kids".
Edward then said lightly smiling.
"1918, Spanish influenza".
Dad then said moving the hair off my face.
"I can see you love my daughter.
(I could feel the protective stare with my eyes closed.)
Protect her".
Edward then said.
"I promise sir".
