(Edwards pov)
The sound of the music of Rio was what kept me calm and from leaping out of the window of the house I was staying in.
Alice called last night as the sun rose because she had a vision Victoria was going after Y/n.
James made them is take thinking I was protecting Bella when Y/n was right next to her.
Y/n being the overprotective cousin, stood infront of Bella.
I admired her for loyalty to family, but I wondered everyday when I was with and away from her if it was bravery or a death wish, she wasn't kluzy but she knew we were vampires before her xousin told her.
A gut instinct y/n called it and i just say a pretty good and accurate one.
Alice vision when ever it involved the swans has been flacky, there were holes and miss placed events.

Almost like something was keeping alice away from their future.
I wasn't just antsy cause Victoria targeted the one swan that captured my heart the moment I saw her when the spring semester started, a little bit over 6 months before Bella showed up.
But instead of trusting my self, i began dating her cousin as an excuse to be near her.
Who strangely collect not only pop culture items but trunks that had stuff in them that i can't get into.
Almost like a force was protecting the contents.
I toke it as a sign to not pry, that my conscience about going through what y/n probably wouldn't want me to see was telling me to stop.
Though it annoyed me that I can't read her mind like I can't read Bella's, I learned that I should give her more  privacy than I do when I watch her rest to make sure that no vampire came to close to her home.
I then said as i looked at a drawling I did when i missed her.
"I promise y/n as soon as the sun goes down, I'll track Victoria.
I'll return to you, as soon as your safe".

Alice called again and i said.
"Alice im trying to keep myself from running to forks right now".
She then said rapidly.
"That's the thing, i had a vision some one destroys Victoria.
It's a witch".
I then said confused.
"I thought the witches were nearly wiped out during the Salem witch trials"?
Alice then said.
"Their extend family aren't, and i found something, the swans are descandents of the swans from Salem".
I then said looking at y/n's picture.
"You think that those swans are witches?
That there descandents have some magic"?
Alice then said.
"Im digging more into their history, theres got to be a drawling about these sisters since they were the daughter of the mayor of Salem, who died, then his wife, the eldset swan daughter who y/n was named after toke on the role of helping the village".
I then said.
"Anything more about her"?
Alice then said.
"It says she strangely disappeared before her sister turned 20.
She was never seen again".
I hummed and said.
"Okay, thank you Alice".
Alice then said.
"And so help me Edward you fix the mess your in right now or ill paint your Austin pink"!
I cringed and said.
"Okay I know, if a witch toke out Victoria i want to thank them".
Alice then saud.
"You know those rumers spreaded in those inaccurate horror movies that some witches can live forever, cause they are immortal.

(I hummed and she said.)
What if this witch is Bella and y/n's ancestor y/n"?

I then said.
"Why would she help now"?
Alice rhen said.
"You ask her when you see her"!
She hanged up and said rubbing my ears.
"Ah, i really need to patch things up with you alice after i find a way to get some more courage".
The sun finally went down and i said as i had my stuff.
"Im coming y/n" .

(Time skip *a few weeks after that sleep over*)

(Y/n's pov)

I finally sat Bella down after i had enough of her mooping.
I then said.
"Bella, we need to talk".
She then said.
"I think im actually losing it y/n.
I thought i heared you that night, and know Jacob won't speak to me".
I then said holding her hand.
"Your not losing it bella.
(I pulled out the book and opened it to show a picture of me where I was were the old cloths that you can find in museums.)
Infact you are only beginning to realise what you truley are".
Bella then said as she read of the year i was born.
"Y/n swan born 1672, date of death unknown.
(I then did magic and she said looking at me shocked.)
Wait, y/n you aren't my cousin"?
I shook my head and said.
"No, im sorry that I lied to you Bella.
Being a witch is hard.
I'm actually your really great aunt, Y/n swan.
Your really great grand mother gave up magic when she meet your Really great Grand father.
She kept her maiden name, Henry didn't mind infact even though she gave up her magic, he's happy that she knows who she is when she kept the family name.
He changed his instead.
She had a child Rachel who decided to go to the new world on the may flower.
I watched over the generations that passed ever since.
Your aunt Diana knew the moment i walked past her.
Her gift of mind reading was inherited by Elizabeth.
Just like you, only you didn't just inherit her mind reading.

Bella then asked.
"So that's why Edward can't read our minds"?
I nodded and i said.
"Yes, witch minds are more complex, almost to quiet for a mind reader human or vampire to hear.
You look just lile Elizabeth, same dark curls and everything, right down the the kluzness and danger prone personality when she gave up her magic".
Bella then asked.
"Do you miss her?
Miss all the family you outlived"?
I nodded and said.
"My mother said that why i don't age is because my soulmate is an imortal, but at the time he wasn't born yet.
Magic is tricky that way".
Bella hugged me and said.
"You were protecting me and I forgive you.
(She sat down and asked.)
So do i get to live as long as you do"?
I then said.
"Not really, it's complicated, most witches soulmates are humans.
That's why it's normal to see witches age.
But it's rare for a witch to live past one hundred.
But you havent casted a spell or practiced magic, but you inherited your gifts cause it's the little magic you have.
You could read minds when you want and you have a 24/7 mental sheild on to keep you safe from those that could read it.
Deep down you know your apart of the supernatral world and in this world witches are rare and revered.
But there are vampire that hunt us because our blood makes the powerful".
Bella then asked
"Is that why James was after me"?
I then said.
"No, a con to being a witch.
We smell more appealing to vampires and werewolves.
Often the flower kind or so I'm told".
Bella then asked as i picked up a dead rose.
"Why"?
I then said as I used my power to bring the rose back to life.
"Because good witches are healers, with people and nature, and the goodness is what makes our souls pure, and it's refected in our scents.
Your is freesia and lavender like Elizabeth's.
Mine is roses and tulips since i liked to grow them for my mother when she was alive.
Now i grown them when ever i visit salem to put them on her grave stone, lavender for Elizabeth when I visit hers to".
Bella theb asked.
"What about your father, he looks just like Charlie".
I then said.
"Sadly, there was no body to put in the coffin.
He was the mayor that made sure spicys and tradible goods got to Salem, a storm snuck up on the ship and he died along with the crew.
I thought i never see an empty gave again until mother and elizabeth died".
Bella then asked.
"How can you bury empty coffins if they died"?
I then said holding the book.
"You see these gemz.
Every swan witch or wizard that has died, goes into these gems, as a way to keep watch over future generations to give there knowledge and advice.
(I pressed the blue gem and light green on.)
Each gem holds up to 20 people.
This was what my mother called a phone back then.

The list of the 40 people from the two gem stones i picked showed up and i said.
"Bring Reana And Elizabeth Swan".
They showed up and mom said.

(She saw Bella and said looking at Elizabeth.)

Elizabeth then said holding one of Bella's curls.
"Almost like looking through a mirror".
I then said.
"And she didn't just inherit your looks sister.
(She looks at me.)
She can read minds like you, but she also inheritated my mental sheild.
(Mom hummed in surprise and i said looking af bella.)
It might take a while to see if she also has the physical one".
Bella then asked.
"What's a physical sheild"?
I then said.
"Its like a projected version from the mind but it keeps people from getting in your space or what ever distance you want it.
It will be like a brick wall.
No vampire or werewolf can get to you, not even a missile".
Elizabeth crossed her arms and said.
"The world of man has grown more power hungry".

Bella then looked at her hands and asled.
"Is that why i seem to be danger prone?
Cause I have witch blood in my veins"?
I then said hand on her shoulder.
"Thats one theory sweety, but you went looking for the supernatral remember?
(She looked at me and said.)
Once you see what lies behind the barrier from our wolrd to the humans, you can never go back.

Bella then asked.
"So those legends Jacob told us on the beach-"?
I nodded and said.
"Yes, he comes from a very long line of quillian shapeshifter.
He isn't avoiding us on purpose.
He doesn't have mono.
The shifting process can leave one feeling weak and sick for a number of days.
The first sign before that is increase in size and strength.
That's why i bought so much food.
Jacobs appetite would grow to keep his energy up.
Changing back and fourth really takes it out of a guy".
Bella got up and said.
"I need to talk to Jacob".
She began walking and i wanted to use my great grand aunty voice is really did , but i said instead.
"Wait Bella im coming with you".
Mom then said.
"Looks like she didnt just inherit your sheild she's got your stubbornness to".
I then said before saying my good bues.
"Pretty sure your thinking of Elizabeth mother.
(I pressed the stones and said.)

I left with the book and i said as Bella was siting in the driver seat of my austin.
"I don't think so young lady, this Austin isn't like your truck.
Youll strip the gears".
She moved and i began driving to Jacobs place and i siad as i saw two members of the pack rub along side.
"Remember Bella they are dangoures as vampires.
(We pulled up and i said seeing Paul, Sam and Quil.)
So don't do anything-.
(She got out and was marching angrily to them.)

Bella"!
I barley got out in time to see that she punched Paul.
I then said running as paul shacks.
"Bella run now"!!
She did and then i did something unthinkable, i unlocked another power.
I jumped in mid air and the sound of music and mist moving around me calmed me enough as i closed my eyes.
When i landed I didn't feel my feet, i felt dirt under my paws.
I opened my eyes and stared at Paul.
I growled and Sam said as Paul toke the challenge.
'You messed with my great grand niece so this is going to hurt.
Come at me pup'.
Paul roared at me and charged.
"Paul no"!
I ducked and then shoot up, nocking him off balance.
I slashed at his side and he yelped and my eyes glowed purple as i stood over him.
'Stand down paul'.
He looked away and whimpered.
I softens my gaze and starred at his wound.
They began to heal and i backed away, i looked to sam and said finally finding a way to speak.
"Your friend needs to take a chill pill".
I walked over to Bella and saw jacob just walked out.
Something was different about him, he didn't become the beta.
The aura of alpha radiated off him like heat.
I got down to my lap when i was infront of Bella.
She went over to me and hugged me.
I moved my muzzle to place it on her shoulder and said.
"Don't worry sweet heart i got you".
Jacob came over and i growled at him.
He then said.
"You have every right to be angry at me, im sorry paul did what he did".
I then said.
"You might want to get some rest".
Jacob then said after a long pause.
"Your that y/n"?
I nodded and said.
"Im sorry that i didn't tell you.
(I stood up and began to shrink so i could get in my car.)
Alot of people freak when they know".
Bella picked me up and jacob said.
"You looked no day over 17.
(He then pet me and said.)
But I see a free spirit.
(He then said as i felt the same feeling he did.)
We're imprints but -".
I theb said.
"I know, theres another person out there".
Quil came over and said.
"You know your kind of cute when your the size of a normal wolf".
I then said as i puffed.
"Woaf".
