(Barry's pov)

I fiddled with my pencil as I looked at the blurred put picture of Mercury.
You can see her face but it's mostly covered from the forehead to below the cheeks.
Cisco wheeled over and saw i was looking at the picture.
He then said sighing.
"Dude you been staring at that picture for 30 am hour".
I then said.
"That's the thing, i know her but i can't put my dam finger on it".
Caitlyn then said walking but.
"Well i cam answer part of the why".
She placed a parallel myths book on Cisco's desk and she said as he began flipping through pages.
"Mercy is the Roman name of the messages god Hermes.
God of mischief, but his powers include-".
I looked at Caitlyn with wide eyes and i said.
"Speed,
(I looked at the picture and said taking the name choose into account.)
She toke mythology class.
She loves the ironic coincidence that she is a speedster that can run faster than the speed of light.
Hermes is rumored to be the fastest speedster alive".
Cisco then said as he was no longer annoyed a hero named herself better than he can.
"She's a genius,
(Cisco got up and said.)
I think I know why she's running from you, why her face is so covered.
She knows you".
Caitlyn then asked.
"That girl that was with you in the lab, did you see her face"?
I shook my head and said.
"No, she was scared and shacking.
She lost her family so she went to the police station but someone directed her to my lab since she wouldn't let him get close enough to remove her hood".
Catlyin then asked.
"What about that coffee girl, you said you met her before she started working at the station.
The one the Joe found past out nine-".
I started to look up y/n l/n and said seeign the report.
"Y/n l/n 23 years old, found in abandon house in the end of a nine month coma".
Cisco then said reading the rest as i lioked it shook at the picture taken.
'That hoodie'.
"Doctors are baffled by the mirical that she survived with out life support".
Catlyin then said.
"Barry did they find the girl next to you after you were strucked by that lighting".
I got up amd said seeing y/n's face smiling when she brought donuts for everyone even and extra box for me.
"No, y/n's mercury and she knew I'm the flash".
Cisco then said following me.
"Why would she lie by saying she never met you"?
I then said looking at Cisco.
"Why do you think?, she knew Harrison wasn't the real Harrison Wells.
If he knew there was another speedster faster and stronger than him, he would of went after her.
He would get her to talk about how she was more advanced in the ways of the speedster than he and i are.
She told the myths and legends of the greek gods and applied science to what she could be capable of.
Throwing lighting is zeus, misdirection is hermes when i tried to catch up to her.
The faster she goes she can be in two places at once.
The double is just an after image".
I got in my car and drove to y/n place and she was just down the hall with the meta water girl.
Y/n then said looking at me.
"I figured you figure it out".
I then said calmly.
"Why didn't you tell me"?
She then said.
"It wasn't because of Harrison.
He would use you to draw me out".
Cisco then looking at the kid.
"Hey, I'm Cisco".
Y/n looked to the kid as she huddled to be behind y/n and she said.
"Its okay Abby".
I looked to y/n and she looked at me, she cares for the kid like her own and she hated lieing to me earlier.
Y/n then said opening the door.
"Well you guys want coffee, donuts"?
Abby rushed in and sat on the couch of y/n's huge apart ment.
Cisco asked y/n beating me to the punch when he counted in his head.
"How do you afford this place"?
Y/n then said like it was obvious.
"When i woke up and Joe set me up with this place, the crime rate was unbelievable high when there were metas.
(She pulled out cookies and gave them to Abby.)
The sweet land lady knows I'm mercury.
When I made enough to by this place, i didn't have the heart to let her leave.
(She sat down and gave us both coffee, and pulled out a powder.)
This is caffeine, it'll keep you up and provide energy enough for you to run all day".
Cisco rheb said.
"So you collect the rent from your neighbors and provide protection to the city"?
Y/n then said bordering.
"Yeah, but i give most of the money to Sarah.
The money i keep gone to makeing my suit".
I then asked.
"Why didn't you tell me you were a speedster?
Why didn't you come to me when i woke up"?
She looked at me and said.
"You know why".
I stood up and carefully said this so i didn't upset Abby.
"I only know part of it, I was so worried about you when i woke up to find out you weren't found in the lab".

(Y/n's pov)

I then said sitting down.
"When I was strucked by that same bolt of lightning i knew that if i stayed Harrison would be watching my every move.
He knew that you and i would care about one another.
So i made sure that he wouldn't use you to draw me out, i wouldnt corgive myself if you got hurt cause of me".
He got up and said.
"You are from another diemention, you were more worried about me than yourself why"?
I then said.
"This world needs the flash, that much i learned from every season".
I then said as i walked to get food.
"If I'm the cause this world loses you then not only is this world in danger, but mine to.
(I then looked to them.)
Can you watch Abby, I'm going to get some more food.
(I then said remembering how i got into this show in the first place.)
My father and I weren't close when i got older, but we bonded over the flash.
I wanted to be a hero like my father was in the marine's, like you are Barry.
So I'm going to do my best to make sure that you and everyone here is safe".
I left and ran to the car rentals.
Once i went into the store to grab food did i notice i was followed.
I looked to see barry who put the food in the car.
He then said.
"I know your a hero and protect people, but who would protect you?
(He lifted my chin up and said.)
Thought i only known you for a day, we met you have been on my mind 24/7.
Cause I fell for you when we met.
(He then kissed me and when he pulled away he said.)
When I saw you stop Danny from falling I recognised you.
Now let's get you home, i I recognised ypu so could our enemies".
I nodded and he drove when I should fatigue.
He then said seeing that im trying to keep myself from passing out.
"The coffee you had earlier-".
I then said.
"Didn't have the powder I needed to keep my high energy up".
Barry picked me up and said to Cisco.
"Cisco she needs the powder now".
Abby ran over nad said holding my hand once I'm on the couch.
"Mama"?
I then said.
"Ill be fine sweety".
Barry handed me coffee with powder in it and i said looking at Abby.
"Coffees a grown up drink so don't drink this".
She nodded and barry help sit me up and barry said.
"Im going to make pancakes, any preferences"?
Abby perked up and looked at me, her mother didn't really give her sweets since she was a dentist.
I then said.
"Choclate chips.
(I then hugged Abby and said .)
But we went going to have them all the time.
Try new things okay"?
She nodded and Cisco said to Barry thinking i couldn't hear him.
"So you got a girlfriend who's raising a kid"?
Barry then said the smile in his voice apparent.
"Yes, and she can hear you".
I smiled happily, at Barry and he speed over and pecked my lips.
Then went back to cooking.
I hugged Abby and we discussed movies she could watch.
When barry madd enough food for everyone we hanged out on the couch.
Im happy that me and barry are together.
Abby fell alseep in the middle of descendents and I fell alseep as barry held us.
Im really happy that were together.
Since this moment, i promise to keep him safe and my family.
