(Shape Shifter) Spirit x Reader Part 4

(Y/n's pov)
Spirit was walking around the village with me on his back.
It's taking three days for little creeks tribe to pack up everything.
As they packed me spirit and the horse liberated from the ranglers patrolled the area in shifts.
Today everyone was ready.
Since there was not enough horses some of spirits herd let the humans ride on their backs.
Little creek and rain ran beside us going to the mountains where a feild was blocked from outsiders.
We stopped in the valley and i said looking at everyone.
"We made it".
Spirit chuffed and little creek then said.
"Me and some of the others are going hunting.
We'll be right back ".
I nodded and spirit tugged my shirt.
I then said.
"What"?
He then said.
"I need to tell you something".
I followed him to the trees and said once we were out of sight.
"Spirit are you okay"?
Spirit smiled and said.
"Better actualy".
Then there was a blinding light.
Once it was gone a human stood in spirits place.
He held my hands and said.
"Over the course of these past five days I fallen for you.
(He placed my hand over his heart and said.)
My heart only beated like this when I'm running.
Now it's beating whenever your close to me.
When your upset so am I.
Where your worried i am.
I want to keep you safe.
Not only are you my friend, rider and possibly mate if you want.
(He held my cheek and said.)
I love you and care y/n.
I was wondering if-".
I pecked his lips and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He placed his around my waist and he got used to the kiss.
Once we pulled away he said.
"I seen of the the people do this.
Does this mean you feel the same way"?
I then said.
"Yes spirit it does.
I fell you you to spirit.
When I'm with you I feel free".
He then said hugging me to him.
"Me to y/n".
Spirits mother came and smiled at her son and me.
I then said to spirit.
"Lets go help the others set up".
He nodded and shifted back into his horse form.
He helped me up onto his back and he trotted to the tribe.
Little creek came back with the hunters with food.
Me and some of the horse and spirit helped set up the tents.
Once we were at a good stopping point with the tents.
Everyone eat and went into our tents.
Spirit came in still a horse not wanting to awake the tribe and scare them.
I cuddled into him and we both fell asleep in each other's company.
Happy to know that we feel the same way about the other.
