Lisa and I didn't interact during the morning classes but I kept seeing her looking at me in my peripheral vision for some reason. I got irritated which made me put down my pen and raised an eyebrow, looking at her. She looked like a deer in the headlights but she quickly looked in front but I can see the pink tinge on her cheeks.

I shook my head, what's her problem?

Lunch came and we were now waiting in line. I am with Chaeng and Jisoo unnie. I don't know where the other three were but I don't care. I'm hungry!

I saw our table empty so I proceeded there. I contemplated where I would sit and I picked the seat beside the middle of the booth so I was not facing the crowd before me entirely and also, I could choose to ignore Lisa without being noticed. You're so smart Jennie!

While waiting for Chaeng and Jisoo to arrive, I got my phone out to check my messages and saw that Taehyung sent me some photos. I looked through them and felt envious because of the beautiful sceneries he have gone to. I regret not tagging along.

Someone sat next to me so I looked but got surprised to see Lisa's side profile.

"Ya! That's Jisoo unnie's seat!" I said to her.

She looked at me which made me pull away a little bit because of our close proximity. I could almost smell her scent.

"I sat here first," she argued, but it's not my concern anymore.

"Ya! Can you move a little further?!" I complained, annoyed.

"Why? Does it affect you?" She smirked.

"Yes! It does!" I said, irritated.

"How?" She did the opposite of what I told her to do.

"It angers me!" I said menacingly which startled her. I saw her brown eyes dilate and turn dark but I ignored it.

"Now, move!" I said, pushing her a little further. That's what our friends caught us doing when they arrived.

"Yo! What are you guys fighting about?" Hanbin asked as he settled his tray beside Lisa. I ignored him and turned to Jisoo unnie to my right, "Unn—" I started but got cut off when I saw Jisoo unnie already devouring her food beside Rosé.

"Pfft," someone tried not to laugh beside me. I glared at her in return which she responded with a smirk.

She moved a little bit closer to me but not too close yet still did its job to irk me. I just ignored her and turned my attention to my food.

"Hey guys," I looked up from my pasta to see Junhoe settling beside Jisoo with his tray. We greeted him back half-heartedly as we were only focused on our meals.

After our meal, we pushed our trays in the middle, piling it up and settling on our seats again.

"Guys, are you not alarmed by the animal killings?" Chaeng asked, sipping on her iced tea. All of them seemed uneasy with the question.

"Well, we are not animals," Lisa replied which made me look at her.

"Idiot. We are! Ever heard of Kingdom Animalia?" I sassed at her which made our friends react.

"Oooooh!"

"Buuurnnn!"

She glared at me which made me smirk, "Yes, I've heard of it, smart ass," she responded in an annoyed tone but smirked, "but they're beneath me. I'm not on your level," she said in a cocky voice.

"Oh, so you're an alien, then," I said, nodding, acting as if I've come to a realization. This comeback made our friends laugh hard as they were intently listening to our conversation, the killings forgotten.

I looked at her reaction with a smirk and she's glaring at me right now. I raised my eyebrow at her and returned to my iced tea, sipping from it.

"You're so cool, Jennie!" Junhoe said, amazed, as he reached for me with his hand held high. I high-fived him with a soft chuckle and responded with, "thank you!"

"I've never seen someone stand up to Lisa like that! You're amazing Jennie!" Jisoo unnie said while smiling widely, her hands morphed into guns, shooting me. I shook my head at her while softly laughing.

"Jennie, idol!" I heard Hanbin said beside Lisa with his thumbs up, smiling.

I looked at Lisa and saw her glaring at her friends. I saw Jisoo just stuck her tongue out at her in response which made me laugh coz she's such a kid.

But Lisa though, she's never stop glaring.
