As the words of the Half-Monarch continues to play in his head Ye Gui Feng's emotions of anger gradually subsides as he ponders deeply about the options that he is presented with.

On one hand Ye Gui Feng can choose to yield everything and acquire the strength of the Half-Monarch as his backer against the Asura Monarch or he can also choose to become one of their so called "Moments."

The difference between the two didn't seem all that wide from one another as they both involve serving the Half-Monarch but the resulting treatment when choosing one or the other will surely vary.

The attitude of the Half-Monarch is difficult to read when his bearings remain the same as always giving no hints on what it is that he desires.

From a logical point of view the Half-Monarch would surely want Ye Gui Feng to choose the second option.

But if that was the case why wasn't that the first option to be presented?

Was that simply a trick or a ploy of the Half-Monarch to create a sense of confusion? But if that were the case what was the point of it? There shouldn't be any need for a person of his strength to play games.
