Within this world every other form of sound had vanished with the sole noise to be picked up by one's ears being the sound of howling gales.

In the face of this Absolute Law that manifests in the form of silver wind streams an Exalted Celestial's flesh and blood would wither rapidly until all that is left of them is but a loose bag of skin.

With this Absolute Law being incapable of harming him Ji Di Tian felt as if he was an idiot for even considering it to be Hua Luo's most effective means to wound him in the beginning.

As the blood covering his skin loses their warmth Ji Di Tian opens his fist and grabs onto the spirit blade.

*...!!!!!* applying strength into his grip Ji Di Tian pinches his fingers and thumb onto the spot he is holding the spirit blade by and simultaneously a shockwave detonates from within his body casting the dried-up blood that covered his skin aside while tearing the silver air currents apart in an instance!

*Kakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka!!!!!!* cracks spread and quickly engulfs the entirety of the spirit blade's crystal casing and suffering from the same fate as the previous three layers the final layer breaks under the pressure of Ji Di Tian's grip to reveals its core!

*...!!!* as the blade emanates with seven different forces of power it gives off an azure colored radiance and under this light-

[...I've been waiting for this moment.]

Ji Di Tian feels a hint of danger but instead of showing concern he smiles in a composed manner as he lowers his right arm.

Almost as soon as Ji Di Tian had lowered his arm-

*...!!!!!!!!!* bolts of lightning that are as thick as the trunk of trees descended upon him as it obscures his figure away from sight!

The strength emanated by these lightning bolts readily made the previous lightning waves seem like a joke in comparison almost as if those were all meant to be a means to probe the target.

As electric energy rips away at his body Ji Di Tian trembles however-

*CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!!* the worse had yet to come as many more lightning bolts rained upon him in the following instance!

*CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!!* the pattern in which these lightning bolts would fall is reminiscent to the way in which a master blacksmith would bring their hammer down on a piece of metal to cleanse its impurities and with every strike the one that follows would be doubled in strength!

Taking this chance Hua Luo raises his right arm once more and with it the spirit blade lifts itself away from Ji Di Tian.

*...!!!!!* as the azure radiance that comes from the spirit blade intensifies to the point in which it looked as if the blade was covered in azure colored flames Hua Luo brings his arm down again.

This time the spirit blade doesn't fall.

Instead a phantom of its form separates itself from the main body and slashes down at the spot Ji Di Tian stood!

*BOOM!!!!!!!!* despite being unable to see Ji Di Tian's figure amidst the flaring sea of electric energy a deafening sound goes off in the next instance and puts an abrupt halt to the phantom blade's fall!

Without giving Ji Di Tian any time to rest a second phantom blade separates itself from the spirit blade and follows the first!

In the blink of an eye the second blade approaches the first and as the azure radiance emanating from them increases in density they quickly meld together upon the second blade being within arm's reach of the first.

*...!!!* upon the completion of this fusion the momentum that was carried by the second blade is transferred directly onto Ji Di Tian!

[N... Gh...]

Feeling a crushing force of weight pushing back against his fist Ji Di Tian mutters something beneath his breath.

[N't... P...t... Me... N... Zi...]

If one is able to see his face at this time they would surely feel an inch around their scalp for even with how badly damaged his body is from the rain of lightning bolts Ji Di Tian's eyes continue to burn with both confidence and anticipation.

And noticing this development that is probably the result of Ji Di Tian being unable to withstand Hua Luo's attack-
