[Despite being one of Mo Ye Zi's fragments have you never considered the option of separating yourself from his fate?]
In a plain tone of voice Ji Di Tian raises this question to Hua Luo.
[I've considered this question in the distant past and my answer has yet to change.]
[And what might that answer have been?]
[Since you're so condescending as to hold a conversation with us I'm assuming you think you've already won by imprisoning us in this Absolute Law?]
Having trapped both Hua Luo and the Asura Monarch in his Absolute Law and sealed off all possible exits Ji Di Tian can indeed afford to converse with his captured prey at his leisure.
[Just like all those years ago with Mo Ye Zi you continue to take joy in toying with your prey. Even without me giving you my answer you should already know what it is.]
Speaking with a voice filled with coldness Hua Luo makes his statement without a hint of fear in his eyes despite facing one of the two Absolute Monarchs in existence.
[So even if I were to offer you a place amongst us you would still choose to oppose us in the end?]
Towards this offer Hua Luo laughs mockingly and-
[You answered Mo Ye Zi's question with "because you treasure this world and all its creations I wish to see if the loss of it all can drive you to step pass the boundaries that you currently stand upon." Hearing what Chong Tianzi had said just now I've come to realize that things weren't as simple as you've made it out to be then. You destroyed Mo Ye Zi's world because you wanted to see if he could have transcended his limitations. More specifically you wanted to see if a member of the lifeforms you created could eventually stand toe to toe with you and your peers. You and Ji Tian Huang weren't just afraid of Shura alone. You also feared the inferior lifeforms you've created on a whim.]
[.........]
Seeing as how Ji Di Tian has chosen to remain silent on this matter Hua Luo knew that he had guessed correctly.
In actuality it was indeed just as Hua Luo had guessed.
Through Mo Ye Zi's demonstration of his strength Ji Di Tian did gain a better sense of understanding towards the myriad lifeforms' rate of growth and their potential future if they were allowed to continue their evolution.
[I don't have any reason to place my trust in you when you would go as far as to scheme against one of your own out of them being a potential threat to your stance in the future. What you've done is akin to killing off your own sibling. Since you can do that what else is there that you wouldn't dare to do? Do not think that I have no knowledge of your conflict with Ji Tian Huang. Your offer to let me into your circle is only temporary. You merely see an opportunity in me being able to bolster the strength of your faction so that you may outnumber Ji Tian Huang's faction in your inevitable clash. You revealing Ji Tian Huang to be a part of your schemes in killing Shura off in the past is only so that you can make him question whether or not his allies in the past can be trusted. Since Shura will definitely decide to cut himself off from Ji Tian Huang's faction after this you've effectively reduced your greatest enemies down to four.]

[...]
Just as Hua Luo had said the Asura Monarch does indeed plan on leaving Ji Tian Huang's faction.
Since Ji Di Tian and Ji Tian Huang has chosen to scheme against him he couldn't possibly hope to trust his peers any longer.
(Yecha...)
Although it was the Yaksha Monarch who had triggered his resurrection law-
(*Sigh*)
Under these circumstances even putting trust in the Yaksha Monarch is questionable.
[I'm impressed. What a smart one you are.]
Although Hua Luo isn't able to see Ji Di Tian he can never the less imagine just what kind of expression the latter must have on his face.
It was the kind of expression a dog owner would make when they see their pet having performed a simple trick on command.
[Since you can afford to converse with us at your leisure why don't you enlighten me on why you didn't just slaughter all the lifeforms you created at the first thought of us being a threat to you?]
[Although you know about my conflict with Tian Huang you clearly do not know about the root of it.]
[I do have some guesses on this matter but I don't know whether or not they are correct. But amongst all my speculations I do have one that makes the most sense.]
[If you have so much confidence in this speculation why don't you tell me? If you are correct I'll confirm it for you.]
[In that case I'll cut straight to the chase my theory is that you stand on the side of wanting to destroy us out of fear but Ji Tian Huang stands on the side of wanting to raise us. As for why Ji Tian Huang wishes to raise us I would say it's because he wishes to devour us as a means to improve his strength that is currently at a bottleneck.]
In the cultivation world life is just this cruel.
No one knows whether or not they are actually the hunter or the hunted.
One moment one can be the hunter but in the next instance they could end up being the hunted and by the time they realized the roles of the hunter and the hunted have been reversed it might already be too late.
[Regardless of which monarch's faction ends up victorious the myriad lifeforms are doomed to face off against the surviving faction. The supposed "prime worlds" mentioned by the Yaksha Monarch is definitely not survival related.]
What Ji Tian Huang is doing is no different from what the Primordial Continent of Immortals are doing but compared to the latter the former is doing it on a much grander scale as he sees the entirety of heaven and earth as his cattle farm.
(...)
Thinking of this Ye Gui Feng can't help but laugh at the irony.
Compared to Ji Tian Huang's ambitions the Primordial Continent felt like an absolute joke.
[There are many theories as to why the Original Monarchs had vanished from sight all those years ago but none of the rumors were something that I put too much faith in.]
[...]
[An internal conflict amongst your circle. Since you and Ji Tian Huang's opinion on how to deal with the myriad lifeforms had differed the two factions decided to wage war on one another which resulted in both sides critically wounding each other making it so that each of you were forced into a deep slumber to recover.]
Hearing Hua Luo's guess Ji Di Tian smiles in amusement. He had never thought that a human would be able to make such accurate guesses about the past with so little clues to go off on.
[Congratulations to you. You've guessed correctly. My conflict with Tian Huang does indeed stem from our difference of opinion on how to deal with the myriad lifeforms which eventually caused a battle to break out between our factions.]
Having said that Ji Di Tian turns his attention to Chong Tianzi.
[It's time that we wrap this up. Both of you will die here today. Shura you can only blame yourself for being so curious about the past that you would actually be so bold as to recreate it without considering the risks involved.]
