Sustaining the first wall the ghostly figure of the demonic self continues to distort almost as if an invisible force of power is attempting to wipe away his very existence.

*Kakaka...* just as a tiny crack appears on the surface of the first wall Hua Luo's expression turns grim as he prepares himself to take charge of the second wall but before he could-

The demonic self forces his right foot forward while drawing upon the power within his blood.

A pain several times worse than the pain felt from sustaining the defensive wall courses through the demonic self's head and soul as pale purple flames devours his ghostly body.

Following the appearance of these purple flames a hint of red demonic Qi that is similar to the Yaksha Monarch's flow outwards.

Waving his right hand the demonic self sends the red demonic Qi forward and rather quickly they infuse themselves into the first wall.

*...!!!* a pulse that is similar to a heartbeat emanates from the first wall as it glows with demonic red radiance.

Due to the issue of compatibilities the fusion of Hua Luo's Absolute Law and the Yaksha Monarch's Absolute Law couldn't be considered perfect.

In fact one might as well describe it as crude mix of parts that were never meant to fit together but the results still managed to raise the demonic wall's defensive capabilities by a significant margin.

Focusing his eyes and examining the damaged areas of the demonic wall closely Hua Luo noticed that an odd layer of crystals has begun to grow from the breaches and are currently spreading outwards to cover the entirety of the demonic wall's surface.

Similar to a thin layer of sugar coatings the surface of the demonic wall is thoroughly glazed over by this crystal skin that is riddled with a series of odd patterns.

These odd patterns are made up of numerous uneven cuts almost as if they were made by an amateur stonecutter who didn't know the first thing about the object they were working with.

Should one compare these patterns to the diamond like layer of skin that is covering the Asura Monarch's body at this time they would definitely be able to see a hint of resemblance between the two but it would be as clear as day that the latter's was more refined.

And unlike the latter this layer of crystal skin clearly didn't possess the same regenerative abilities as the one covering the Asura Monarch's body meaning even if one is able to maintain its structure through the expenditure of energy it wasn't something that could be sustained for prolong periods.

(This early in and we're already forced to resort to these methods?)

Realizing that not even half a minute has gone by since the initial impact Ye Gui Feng, Yi, and Hua Luo can't help but feel that their chances of survival are extremely bleak.

However, having experienced a great deal of what life has to offer none of them are the type to dwell on negative thoughts for long as they steel themselves for the worse.

*...!!!* almost as if a ferocious dragon has decided to release its breath the wave of dark flames that emerged from the sun begins to extend its reach outwards!

Within the blink of an eye the dark flames pour themselves onto the demonic wall and under its blazing heat that is continuously rising in temperature the crystal skin immediately begins to show a sign of deformation.

In the face of these black flames the crystal skin might as well just be a thin layer of liquid and similar to all forms of liquid it didn't take very long for it to reach its boiling point as bubbles begin to form across its surface causing its structure to gradually deteriorate.

(Seems like my guess was correct.)

Basked in the heat of the black flames the Asura Monarch continues to maintain the stability of his diamond skin.

These black flames are unique to Ji Di Tian in a way that is akin to how the Yin and Yang Fox Fire are unique to the Asura Monarch for both flames are a product of their individual understandings towards the concepts that caused their existence to come into being.

It goes without saying that remaining passive will only result in delaying the inevitable and as much as it pains the Asura Monarch to think about it he truly didn't have any means to deal with these flames when all his energy is being expended on defense.

The power of these flames is equal to amount of natural energies they have devoured since the dawn of their creation.

In order to create these flames an entire region of the stars had been reduced to ashes when Ji Di Tian had one day decided to sow its seed into a random world that was deemed unfit to survive the coming era.

That seed was a single wisp of fire that was no bigger than a grain of rice when it had first started but by the end of that star region's life cycle that seed had ended up becoming a forest of flames that was as large as the region it had devoured.

The trait possessed by these flames made it so that they are able to constantly evolve and strengthen themselves by devouring any form of energy and this readily makes them the ideal weapon to use for mass extermination.

Having a rough estimate of how many years has passed since Ji Di Tian had created these flames made it so that the Asura Monarch is all the warier of the black flames' abilities to devour and incinerate.

Even for a monarch these flames are not something that they would come into direct contact with carelessly.
