Hearing these words from the Asura Monarch's mouth Chong Tianzi sinks into silence as the radiance in his eyes turn colder than ever.

[You want to kill me?]

The moment these words came out of Chong Tianzi's mouth the Asura Monarch has already turned his head to face forward and looks pass Hua Luo for he has already figured out that the figure standing before the sun is nothing more than illusion.

[Then-]

Without warning the figure of Chong Tianzi that stood in front of the solar body vanishes into smoke and-

[I wonder what would happen if I destroy the Dao Lotus that came from the present first.]

*!!!!!* emerging out of nowhere is a colossal hand that's more than capable of crushing an entire planet to dust and as it begins its descent it becomes apparent that it intends to crush the courtyard that is behind Hua Luo!

Existence of the Dao Lotus is what triggered the Asura Monarch's resurrection so its destruction could have adverse effects on his person in the present era.

Even before the three weapon spirits can react to the situation Hua Luo turns around and appears over the courtyard's roof with his right hand raised over his head.

Life.

Death.

Reincarnation.

Folding his fingers and thumb to clench his hand into a fist the three powers related to the cycle of living emanates from Hua Luo's being.

[Hmph a mere mortal dares to challenge this monarch?]

As Chong Tianzi's hand continues to fall the rest of his main body gradually materializes until only half of his figure remains in the voids.

Within the Divine Monarch's eyes is a light of contempt towards an insect that can easily be crushed underfoot.

However, this light of contempt didn't last for long as things didn't end there-

*...!!!* immortal Qi, demonic Qi, and the odd spirit energy erupts to reinforce the powers of life, death, and reincarnation but this wasn't what wiped away Chong Tianzi's contempt.

*!!!!!* it was the unique energy that belongs to Absolute Laws that caused Chong Tianzi's contempt towards Hua Luo to waver and in the next instance-

*...!!!!!!!!!!!* holding nothing back Hua Luo throws out a punch towards Chong Tianzi's falling hand!

[...!!!]

With the palm of his hand colliding against seven different sources of power Chong Tianzi widens his eye in surprise and being unprepared to face the brunt of this attack-

*Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!* as the starry skies tremble Chong Tianzi is forced to take five steps back from Hua Luo's attack!

With his body being that of a giant's these five steps measured pass 10,000 kilometers.

Raising his head Chong Tianzi's eyes no longer gave off a light of contempt as he looked towards Hua Luo.

[...]

Releasing his fist Hua Luo looks to Chong Tianzi without a hint of fear. Although there was a bit of backlash he managed to hold his ground without taking a single step back.

[So this is what a Quasi-Dao Luo is capable of? No, this is something only you are capable of.]

Having lived for this long this isn't the first time Chong Tianzi has seen a Quasi-Dao Luo. Ages ago he has already lost count of the many Dao Luo bloodlines that has come and gone. But not even one of them was a bloodline that caught his interest.

Immortal Qi, demonic Qi, the power of life, death, and reincarnation, none of these five powers mattered to Chong Tianzi on their own.

What made them matter is the energy that is unique to Absolute Laws and the odd spirit energy that made up Hua Luo's third Dao Luo origin. Without these two powers backing him up the previous five are nothing.

If he was to make a comparison the previous five powers are like untamed spears while the latter two are basically the hands that pushed these five spears to kill.

Seeing Hua Luo's show of strength in pushing Chong Tianzi back by five steps the Asura Monarch narrows his eyes.

(If I don't settle this situation quick enough I'll have to deal with Li Jiu Tian's descendant... He's most likely planning to stall us.)

From Xuan Nuo's memories the Asura Monarch knew exactly what had happened in the other world.

His goal is to kill Chong Tianzi and the second person who said the same words to him. But on the off-chance that he isn't able to do that-

(I still need the Dao Lotus' Eternity as insurance since if I fail to kill off Chong Tianzi and the second person I will need the Eternity to open the Rivers of Time.)

That means to say the Asura Monarch has no intentions to cooperate with Hua Luo and will have to make this battle a three-way power struggle.
