[Oh?]
Seeing as how the black and white chains that are meant to bind him had appeared even before Dao Mo had released the first strike an expression of amusement appears on Ye Can's face.
Without having to count and although it was but a brief instance before they had vanished from sight Ye Can can readily tell that the number of chains restraining his movement surpasses the amount that the spirit had deployed by far.
This isn't anything that Ye Can finds surprising as originally those three techniques that the spirit had demonstrated were meant to be used by a practitioner of the Half-Monarch realm of cultivation.
[...]
Without letting any trace of his cultivation base to seethe outwards Dao Mo throws out the first strike.
*Cling!* the shockwave of the first strike causes a bell like clang to resound as the air around Ye Can distorts.
*Cling! Cling! Cling! Cling! Cling!* it goes without saying that the series of clanging noise is produced by the rattling of the chains' links clashing together and as time goes on they gradually begin to shift in tune.
*Cling! Cling! Cling! Cling! Cling!* it's difficult to pinpoint the exact time frame in which the clanging noise had begun to match the pace of Ye Can's heartbeat but by the time Dao Mo had raised his index finger the clanging tune has already become akin to the sound of a human's heartbeat.

Two trails of black and white mist flows from the tip of Dao Mo's finger and as if that finger is an ink dappled brush a single wave from Dao Mo draws out a body that manifests in the far distance of Ye Can.
Without pausing Dao Mo continues to wave his finger causing the vague outlines of two more bodies to manifest.
The first body resembles a flat mountain.
The second body is a plain circle that hangs behind the mountain.
And the third body bears the shape of a flowing river.
From a distance away the three bodies overlapping one another forms the image of a distorted painting.
As soon as the painting's backbone is established Ye Can felt the forces of his life energy being sapped from his body and replacing it is a dense stream of death Qi.
As more of Ye Can's life energy is drained the higher the distant mountain grew as it gradually forms its peak.
Similarly the two bodies that accompanied the growing mountain began to gain a hint of both color and depth.

Contrary to the spirit who had used a second punch to release the third technique Dao Mo opens his hand completely and launches a palm strike.
A ripple appears on the surface of Dao Mo's palm and as it continues to expand a complex seal that resembles an eye comes into being.
In a single flash this seal closes the vast distance that separates Dao Mo from Ye Can.
[** *** ** ****.]
As the seal is but a meter away from Ye Can Dao Mo didn't wait for it to make contact as he begins to clench his left hand.
The closer Dao Mo brought his hand to forming a fist the brighter the seal's blood like radiance became.
Even if one is seeing this technique for the first time in their life they would immediately realize that the brighter this seal shone the closer it was to detonating.
