[Opening the Heavens.]

Preestablishing his drawing stance the moment his figure appears before Chong Tianzi and Cang Xue Akatuosi speaks with an icy tone of voice and following it-

*...!!!* an ephemeral flash lashes onto the eyes of Chong Tianzi and Cang Xue as they witness the phantom blade in Akatuosi's hand revealing a centimeter of its sharpened fangs that gives off a gleam of ruby like radiance.

Frame by frame in the manners of flipping through a picture book the two sees the entirety of Akatuosi's act of drawing his blade against them without letting the weapon touch its scabbard as it makes its exit.

*...!!!* in the next instance a trail of fresh blood and a trail of life essence mist enters the view of Chong Tianzi and Cang Xue.

Completing their retreat right after the blade had grazed them by the barest margin possible the two presses their hands to their chest with a light of horror and disbelief in their eyes.

Instinctively they knew that they had only managed to avoid death because their attacker had purposefully chosen to only nick them.

A bead of cold sweat rolls down Chong Tianzi's face.

The message in the attack that gave them no time to react was clear.

If Akatuosi wanted to extinguish their lives he could do so with ease.

Despite this being an artificially world created through the Asura Monarch's Absolute Law Chong Tianzi knew better than to take chances under the uncertainty of the predicament he is in.

[Duo Tian if we choose not to inter-]

[That isn't an option.]

Without letting Chong Tianzi finish his sentence Akatuosi cuts him off as he stores the phantom blade back into its sheath.

[You are one of the Original Monarchs so you are destined to be my enemy. As for that person beside you...]

Faced with Akatuosi's crude hostility Cang Xue felt as if she was standing in front of the absolute ruler of her homeland.

[She should be someone who originates from the Ice Demon Tribe.]

Hearing the place of her origin coming out of Akatuosi's mouth Cang Xue subconsciously straightens her back.

[Why do you...?]

[You should be asking me why I possess the same air as one of your kind.]

Ignoring Cang Xue who was stunned by his words Akatuosi turns to the Asura Monarch.

[If I were to set a restriction or something like it on their bodies in this world it would also affect them in the real world as well right?]

Hearing these words the eyes of the two twitched and towards Akatuosi's question that gave Chong Tianzi and Cang Xue a premonition of their eventual fate-

[Who knows? You're welcomed to try it.]

The Asura Monarch merely shrugs his shoulders. Judging by the air that exudes from him he doesn't seem to have any intentions to involve himself in this matter.

(He's lost the essence of his Absolute Law over lightning. This essence is still looming about in the air. If he wanted it back he could have done so now with Ji Di Tian distracted but...)

Throwing a meaningful glance at the Asura Monarch who shows no signs of recollecting the scattered essence to reform his Absolute Law Akatuosi eventually chooses to ignore the former's stance on this situation.

Dealing with Chong Tianzi and Cang Xue together wasn't very difficult but throwing the Asura Monarch into the equation would make the difficult of the situation spike.

At the same time-

(If his intentions are what I think they are then... I'm very much interested to see what would become of his fate in the future.)

Although it wasn't with absolute certainty Akatuosi instinctively felt like the Asura Monarch has decided to uptake an interesting experiment with his neutral stance on the war that involves the two factions of the Original Monarchs and the myriad lifeforms.

(Di Tian...)

Taking a brief glance in the direction of Ji Di Tian and Yuzao Qian Akatuosi frowns beneath the mask.

Stalling Ji Di Tian with just Yuzao Qian alone wasn't very promising for there are limitations to the amount of strength they can demonstrate with these phantom bodies.

Choosing to ignore the second confrontation that involves Chong Tianzi, Cang Xue, and Akatuosi Ji Di Tian turns his full attention towards Yuzao Qian.

Under the current circumstances Ji Di Tian can kind of see why Duo Tian had said that suppressing him is easy when the latter has two of his incarnations assisting him.

(If I were to allow him to complete the First Heaven...)

The situation would only become more dire for him so the best way to break his disadvantage would be to get pass Yuzao Qian in as little time as possible so that he may put a stop to Duo Tian's refinement of the celestial bodies.

However-

[This path doesn't allow passage.]

Reading Ji Di Tian's intentions Yuzao Qian moves his left hand in the manner of stirring something causing the ashen inferno that rests beneath his feet to rise in temperature as it divides itself into nine bodies that quickly surrounds the former from all sides.

[And I'm not willing to take a detour.]

As each of the nine bodies of fire erupts into a flexible pillar of scorching flames they lean their heads in on Ji Di Tian from above and in the face of this attack Ji Di Tian stomps his right foot forward causing a pool of black flames to form beneath his feet.

Rather quickly this pool of black flames begins to devour the energy that is looming in the air as it raises its temperature at a staggering rate prior to erupting and fighting back against the ashen infernos that rained down from above!

For an instance ashen flames and dark flames mingled together in an effort to devour the other but-

[With most of your Fox Fire's essence being used to refine those celestial bodies did you really think they'd stand a chance against my black flames?]

As if to prove Ji Di Tian's statement the entirety of the burning seas is quickly dyed in the colors of the night until all traces of ash vanishes from sight.

[Make way.]
