Sensing the energy that comes from Chong Tianzi increasing at a scalp numbing rate the Asura Monarch constricts his eyes.

If one is to talk about defense alone then amongst all the Original Monarchs Chong Tianzi would be the most powerful when it comes to this aspect of combat. This has to do with his innate cultivation method along with one of his Absolute Laws.

[Law of the Divine!]

As the golden aura that shrouds Chong Tianzi's body reaches a staggering volume it solidifies its form to take on the shape of a seated giant.

The entirety of this giant's body is covered in a heavy layer of golden armor that left none of its bare skin exposed.

In the presence of this seated giant a feeling of sacredness washes over this artificial world and under the effects of this sacred aura the violent sword Qi, the Fox Fire, and the azure lightning are all forced to act with restraint giving Chong Tianzi a moment to catch his breath.

[Deva's Battle Raiment!]

With his Absolute Law fully enacted Chong Tianzi's chest releases a blinding radiance making it seem as if a solar body is contained in the location of his heart.

Following this a powerful force of attraction erupts from Chong Tianzi's body causing the figure dressed in the golden armor to shrink in size.

With each passing instance the armored figure dressed in gold gradually reduces itself to a size that would allow its body to overlap with Chong Tianzi's and as the Divine Monarch takes on the same seated posture as the armored figure the armor gradually turns from a corporeal existence to a physical existence.

Seeing the figure of Chong Tianzi dressed in the Deva's Battle Raiment the Asura Monarch's eyes glow with a light of contemplation.

Cloud like patterns covered most of the raiment's surface.

Wing like pauldrons covered the shoulders and extending from these pauldrons is a snow-white mantle.

A helmet resembling both an emperor's crown and practical warrior's protective gear wrapped around Chong Tianzi's head with a mask that covered the entirety of his face aside from the eyes.

Scrutinizing the raiment that covered every itch of Chong Tianzi's body in detail the Asura Monarch can sense a separate force of life energy that wasn't Chong Tianzi's emanating from the raiment itself.

(Deva's Battle Raiment, this Absolute Law is Chong Tianzi's ultimate form of defense. Now that I have a chance to look at it in detail it seems like this armor is meant to possess a life of its own. Looks like attempting to replicate it in the future will prove to be quite a challenge unless I can figure out a way to instill life into the manifested armor as well.)

Inwardly the Asura Monarch smiles in the manner of a challenger looking forward to the obstacles that may stand in their path with anticipation.

Time has changed so he cannot possibly hope to remain as he did in the distant past for there are now individuals who possessed the power to threaten his existence.

A perfect example of such individuals is Hua Luo and although practitioners like Hua Luo might be a minority who is to say that their numbers are only a handful?

Within this vast plane of heaven and earth there exists countless worlds, each world has a chance to produce a practitioner like Hua Luo.

This means that there must be more than a hundred individuals who possesses the rights to attain a throne that is similar to the Eternal.

If that number is true, then the ten Original Monarchs are vastly outnumbered.

Whether or not his peers survive in the coming age is none of the Asura Monarch's concern.

His own survival is all that matters to him and in order to survive in the coming era the Asura Monarch knew that he must possess a progressive mindset.

It is only by becoming stronger, by surpassing his prime would he have a chance at surviving whilst preventing others from usurping his throne.

The best means of gaining more strength would be to replicate and creating his own form of Absolute Laws that function in a similar way to his peers.

At least then he would have more cards to play when confronted with an enemy that is as difficult to deal with as Hua Luo.

This means to say that right now the Deva's Battle Raiment is something that the Asura Monarch took great interest in.

Allowing the Fox Fire to burn him, allowing the azure lightning to shock him, and allowing the never-ending waves of sword Qi to cut him Chong Tianzi did nothing to resist as he slowly straightens his stance from a seated posture.

With the Deva's Battle Raiment donned all forms of attack has seemingly been rendered useless against Chong Tianzi as he clenches his fists with a calm expression beneath his mask.

*-!!!!!* raising his right fist Chong Tianzi strikes with a speed akin to the descent of a lightning bolt as he divides the sea of Fox Fire in half with brute strength alone!

*-!!!!!* in the span of time it would take for sparks to fly the second strike follows the first and shatters the tendrils of azure lightning with the ease of snapping the branches of trees!

*-!!!!!* without pausing the third punch is launched to throw the swords that surrounds him in the Asura Monarch's direction!

Witnessing everything that had occurred in the span of two to three seconds' worth of time the Asura Monarch maintains his composure as he taps the air lightly.

This simple tap causes the swords that were thrown in his direction to pause in their flight and-

*...!* following this a shadow that moved with tiger like ferocity brushes pass the Asura Monarch and closes in on Chong Tianzi with monstrous killing intent!

In the time it takes for Chong Tianzi to blink his eyes the sharpened tip of a black spear is all that he sees before his field of vision.
