Having agreed to Long Feng Zi's request Yi and Bai Yuechu leaves with Bai Shuang.

With Bai Shuang still under the effects of frozen time Yi places him into a storage device that can accommodating a living person.

Staring at the Mountain of Dragons and Phoenixes Yi sensed that this may very well be the last time that he'll meet Long Feng Zi under peaceful circumstances.

The next time they meet-

"If this child is what kept him from turning insane wouldn't taking him away mean...?"

Turning away from Bai Yuechu Yi looks off into the distance with a sharp gleam in his eyes.

Infighting within a world is all but common practice amongst its inhabitants and because the inhabitants are often distracted by each other's schemes they fail to recognize outside threats.

"You don't seem like the type to care for a child long term. What do you have planned?"

Facing this difficult to answer that is thrown out by Bai Yuechu question Yi is somewhat at a loss.

[I'll give him some useful guidance as he is my grand-disciple. As for what comes after... That will be for him to decide.]

"And what if he decides to take revenge?"

Recalling how Long Feng Zi had said that the curse will inevitably make Bai Shuang suffer in the future the possibilities of this child exacting revenge against Na Jia is highly possible.

Even if Bai Shuang's memories of Long Feng Zi had been sealed it will probably be unraveled some time in the future and when that time comes it will be the child's time to decide on what he wishes to do.

[An eye for an eye makes the world go blind, but what if the world itself is already blind? What purposes do these words of advice serve other than to state the obvious?
