Taking in the sight of eastern architect that spreads for as far as the eye can see Ji Di Tian's expression darkens as he directs a sharp glare at Duo Tian and his two incarnations.
If the book that details its history are to be believed then the entirety of this kingdom that is made up of eastern architect should have appeared in a single instance under the mysterious monarch's will.
Although the sudden appearance of Ji Rong Kingdom had taken some time to explain from the moment Duo Tian had given his reply to the 350 weapon spirits to the moment he had completed the summoning less than 15 seconds had passed and now-
"Forward!"
[...]
As the order to move is issued Ji Di Tian finds himself swarmed by a sea of powerful enemies made up of numerous phantom bodies and 350 weapon spirits.
"Attack!"
*...!!! ...!!! ...!!! ...!!! ...!!!* with the order to launch an assault issued the area around Ji Di Tian is riddled with a colorful array of magic techniques in the very next instance.
But compared to the devastating assaults that have a physical shape Ji Di Tian was more wary of the invisible attacks that didn't possess a proper form.
Such attacks that cannot be discerned with one's eyes can manifest as a form of scent or soundwave and as they are usually meant to target one's spirit one can readily imagine how difficult it is to guard against them in a chaotic battlefield that is akin to the one Ji Di Tian is currently in.
[...]
Four minutes and 45 seconds; evading an incoming attack that was launched by a phoenix formed weapon spirit this is the amount of time that appeared in Ji Di Tian's head when he made an estimate on how long he can maintain his current state.
Although attempting to surpass this limit will cause detrimental damage to his current body he felt like he was left with little to no choice on the matter when he thought about the three monarch level phantoms that have yet to make an appearance on this battlefield that is riddled with the deafening roars of fierce explosions and blinding flares that threaten to rob one's eyesight.
[...]
Narrowing his eyes under the pressuring assaults that came from every possible angle Ji Di Tian widens the distance that separates him from Ji Rong Kingdom and upon escaping from much of the enemy's encirclement he uses the nail of his thumb to cut the tip of his fingers before scattering his blood outwards.
[****!]
Pressing his index finger to his forehead Ji Di Tian's divine sense spreads in an overbearing manner and the moment it passes through the droplets of blood that were scattered-
*...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...!* a scene that is reminiscent of the time in which the Yaksha Monarch had created the Yaksha Dynasty through his Absolute Law occurs as the droplets of blood begins to expand and take on a form that is akin to human bodies.
Within the blink of an eye figures dressed in black robes with three-eyed masks are formed from each of Ji Di Tian's blood droplets.
Compared to the Yakshas that were created by the Yaksha Monarch these masked figures gave off a more puppet like air and towards these newly formed enemies that seems like Ji Di Tian's means of evening out the odds-
*Boom! Boom! Boom!* the phantom bodies and the weapon spirits continued with their assaults and bombards these newly formed enemies without giving them any time to react!
*Boom! Boom! Boom!* this bombardment of magic techniques lasts for a total of five minutes but-
"..."
As the smokes begin to show a sign of clearing a frown appears on Duo Tian's face as he looks to the aftermath of his army's land flattening assault.
The number of masked figures haven't dwindled but contrary to that they had actually increased in quantity.
[Focus on sealing them! Do not let their numbers continue to increase!]
Reacting to the situation quickly Yuzao Qian gives out this order and responding to it the phantom bodies and weapon spirits surrounded the individuals that specialized in sealing techniques to move as a group.
Leaving the frontlines to the blood puppets that he had created Ji Di Tian accesses the situation.
(The moment he commands those three to move those celestial bodies will most likely die out.)
Looking at the nineteenth and twentieth celestial body that are slowly shrinking in size Ji Di Tian can only think of this as the reason to why those three phantoms have yet to make an appearance on this battlefield.
(First and final ruler... All these phantoms are those who have sworn fealty to Ji Rong Kingdom in the past. In that case one of the three must be...)
Realizing just who one of the three monarch level phantoms is Ji Di Tian's wariness rose sharply.
(If one of the three truly is Li Jiu Tian then what of the other two?)
As far as Ji Di Tian is concerned the other two phantoms' airs aren't ones that he recognized so it couldn't be any of the other Original Monarchs.
(...Worrying about it won't do much good. Judging by the size of those celestial bodies he only has one chance to use one of the three phantoms against me. If I make this a war of attrition I can cripple his First Heaven at the cost of wounding myself. But so long as I can cripple his First Heaven without letting him use one of the three phantoms my victory is all but guaranteed.)
Coming to a quick decision a sharp glint flashes from Ji Di Tian's eyes as he approaches one of the phantom bodies and uses his bare hands to rip them apart with the ease of shredding paper.
Without pausing in his movements he takes one step forward and appears in front of a weapon spirit.
Held in the human formed weapon spirit's hand is their main body, an elegant rapier that looks to have been crafted from a single piece of sapphire.
Without panicking the weapon spirit lunges its main body towards Ji Di Tian's chest and towards their attack the latter who perceives the weapon spirit's actions in slow motion is just about to raise their right hand to catch the uneven blade however-
[...]
Sensing a hint of danger Ji Di Tian chooses to take one step back and in the same instance a dense arrow of energy flies through his original position.
Judging by the trajectory of that arrow it would have cleanly hit him in the head had Ji Di Tian chose not to dodge.
[...]
Tracing the arrow's origin Ji Di Tian sees the figure of a phantom body that looks to be a young woman dressed in a cheongsam.
An odd feature of this young woman is the beast ears that grew from the top of her head and swayed backwards.
Held in the phantom's right hand is a heavy bow that measures at a length of two meters. The design of the bow is simplistic and elegant but the air it gave off was akin to a blade that's yet to be drawn.
As his pupils shrink Ji Di Tian can tell that out of all the phantom bodies that he has seen thus far this one is the strongest.
